checked in last night, found a poop covered wash cloth hanging from the shower curtain
they offered "free breakfast" when I declined i was told "or, since youre a bonvoy member, we can give you 5,000 bonvoy points" i asked what good that does, and she said "if you get 50,000 points, you can sometimes get a free room stay"... oh. so thats the place youre running? leave guests exposed to someone else's fecal matter, and then offer them a "fuck you" in turn?

DO NOT STAY HERE!
We had 2 K room reservations upon returning back into the U.S. from Barbados.
March 2024- our flight from Barbados to FL was rescheduled to the next day due to storms in Miami.
As soon as I was informed of this, I called the hotel and let them know, and asked them to please cancel my reservations. They informed me of their 48 hr cancellation policy; which I totally get.
I asked to speak to a supervisor.

Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port offers free airport transportation and a nice pool and hot tub. Guests enjoyed the cookies at the front desk and free water drinks with flavor, and found the room solid. However, the restaurant sometimes did not prep food right or overcooked bread. Rusty lift equipment for the pool and hot tub, and only one working elevator were noted. Paid parking is $10 per day, though some guests were asked for $15. Rooms can smell musty and bathrooms need cleaning.
