“Walked in for brunch on Mother’s Day 5/10/26, without reservations and the host was able to accommodate us, a group of four. The waitress was fantastic and the service manager Taylor Bowman came by and spoke to us and wished the misses happy mother’s day. Food and mimosas were great, as well as the atmosphere in the place. Will definitely be back.“

“This hidden gem was a wonderful surprise for our two traveling families. They greeted our large group with a welcoming smile and very quickly arranged tables that could fit us alll comfortably. In addition to the excellent service, the food was AMAZING! Every bite was savored. The portions were large enough to challenge even our strongest eater, and we eagerly shared with each other because the experience was not to be missed. Between the outstanding food, excellent service, and clean establishment, Pili’s Cafe should be on every visitor’s list!“

“Vegan Delights is a little treasure trove of vegan deliciousness. I ordered the cigar bar and the mushroom coffee. If I didn’t know it was all vegan I would t know the difference. The service felt personal, ordering is easy, and the quality of the food and beverage was surprisingly wonderful. Customers order on a touch screen and includes Apple Pay. Staff is available to assist if necessary. The location is very small. It includes a walk up counter and a small bar with 3 bar stools. There were a lot of online orders coming in as we waited, and appears to be growing in popularity.

“I was so excited to try the vegan empanadas here, and they did not disappoint!! I tried all 3 vegan options (vegan ham & cheese, tofu capri, & seitan beef) and wish I could have eaten more. The habanero and chimichurri sauces were good, did not try others. My toddler also loved the chicken empanada. Cannot wait to go back next time I’m in Miami!“

“To just give a 5 star review is an understatement! I would give 20 stars + if possible! Visited several times from KY, and fell in love with the amazing food, professional and friendly staff + atmosphere. The food was the best and nothing has ever tasted so delicious. Nothing is greasy nor salty and will not disappoint. I was especially impressed by the sweetest general manager, Lorena, and our server, Tomas. Lorena takes her time to visit every customer, making sure they have a pleasant experience and getting to know them. She even remembered us from the prior year when we last visited. Tomas was also very friendly and an amazing server. If you are visiting the area, one thing is for certain, make sure to stop in and visit this once in a lifetime restaurant, as you will not be disappointed. Can't wait to visit again in the future, as our #1 stop will definitely be Banchero in Hallandale. 😋“

“Ok, I can’t explain to you guys how GOOD this place was, the food was outstandingly delicious and the prices were perfect, very affordable.
I came here with my husband for lunch and had Cachapas con queso y pernil which was the most tender pork I ever had, it reminded me of the way my grandma used to make it back in Venezuela. We also had Arepa de carne desmechada, one Tequeños and one Cachito. Definitely worth coming back for more!“

“Honestly, some of the tastiest empanadas I have ever eaten! My husband and I were blown away by the flavors. Easily the best we've had in a long time. The special chimichurri sauce is a must-try; it perfectly complements the delicious fillings. Beyond the food, the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. I only wish I had a place like this in London to visit regularly! Highly recommended.“

“Our goat (cabrit) and chicken (poulet) en sauce were plentiful and very good.. tender, not too greasy (vs. many Haitian stews that have a thick layer of fat on top), and well-seasoned. The one customer-facing employee was professional re: service; however, he played his phone on speaker while he scrolled through his feed of various videos (some political, some profane) very loudly the whole time we were there.“
