“This is by far the best Chinese food I’ve had in years! I couldn’t believe how fresh everything was—and the portions are unbelievably generous. The food was so good that even after eating our fill, the plate was still half full (as you can see in the photo)! This place has definitely become our new go-to spot!“

“Ordered here because I seen the rice was brown and not yellow which is very rare for us new yorkers to find. I never ordered fried chicken at a chiense place and got the wings cut up like this which is pretty neat. I ordered bean sprouts to be added to the rice but they forgot to add them so 4 stars. Also something tasted different with the rice I couldn't really figure it out I usually get my chinese food from new china city but I was craving it and it's moday and china city is closed on Monday but I like them a little better.“

“I have been going here for almost 20 years.
I have yet to find better food anywhere in central Florida.
I live in Orlando now, and still get take out from here anytime I'm in the area.
My wife and kids love this place too.
The absolute best food around and great prices.“

“I ordered via DoorDash… not to put too fine of a point on it, I have a problem with that service every single time …
I found the food pretty good, neither too good or too bad. The chicken was a bit tough and dried out as if it was fried too long but otherwise the flavor was good and the portion size was plentiful. Thank you!“

“I love the spicy garlic chicken with broccoli. It's affordable and healthy. They make it really quickly and the person at the counter named Amy was really nice. We will come back for more! Also, general tsao was delicious and I like their wonton soup too.“

“They give you like huge portions of food that the box don’t even close that I had to put it on a separate plate and the food taste amazing as well. Price is top tier for how much you get. Definitely the best tasting Chinese food I’ve had in the area. I got the beef lo mein, and the general tso chicken dinner combo which comes with fried rice roasted pork a 1 pork egg roll. Would recommend anyone who likes Chinese food and is in the area to try it.“

“I have always enjoyed this place. They always have the food ready very fast, the food is always hot, and the staff is always friendly and nice. I will continue to come here for as long as I can. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!“

“If you Google "China Star" your order will be hijacked by Door Dash. They have marked up the prices ($3.50 for plain lo mein vs. $2.75 if you order at the counter or by phone) as well as assessing a delivery fee and mandating a tip. Evidently they don't "get" the idea that the faster they get it to your door, the bigger the tip. Although the checkout allows you to select "pickup" the web genie will not process an order unless you select "delivery".In other words, China Star is great — and needs to cut all ties with DoorDash“

“I hadn't eaten at this place in probably 20 years. The food was awful back then, but I decided to try again since every other Chinese place in my area has degraded badly. I was extremely happy with the food this time around. So glad I gave it another shot. Just some examples below.\n\nEgg rolls at every Chinese place are terrible. The wrappers are hard as a rock and the stuffing is 3-day-old leftovers. Not so here. The wraps were lightly fried - not heavily fried and overcooked. The inner stuff seemed fresh and tasty.\n\nSweet and sour chicken at every Chinese place is generic and the taste and texture is barely edible. More like rubber wrapped in rubber. Again, not so here. The dough was light and crispy, and did not taste as if it had been frozen since the turn of the millennium.\n\nThe bone-in spare ribs were really good. The sauce wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad either. I think the meat had been scored many, many times with a sharp knife. This made them extremely tender and delicious, as it seems more of the meat was exposed to the sauce.\n\nI hadn't had moo shu pork in many years because I hadn't been able to find one that was decent. My search is over.\n\nThe roast chicken chow mai fun was also excellent. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chicken tasted like chicken and not like cat, and the veggies were fresh and also perfectly cooked.\n\nOn top of this, there was not an overabundance of salt. Everything was seasoned just right. Will be going back.“

“Fui esta semana con la familia y la comida estuvo mas o menos. Los tostones perfectos. Me pudiera comer una orden completa yo solita. El arroz estaba ahumado. Ese sabor a que estuvo mucho tiempo en la olla era bastante fuerte. Si me gusto que lo pude pedir sin vegetales. Las costillas deshuesadas buenisimas!! Me encantaron!!

I’m definitely returning and thanking them even more so. I loved it!!
I can’t wait to try more from the menu. I was greeted with a great smile and helped super quickly. Less than 10mins for my order.“

“Standard Chinese-American fare. It really hit the spot. Service was incredible, he really went above and beyond to take care of us. Brought our food to the table and insisted on setting our food out for us instead of handing us the bag. Then he brought us waters that we didn't even ask for because we didn't order a drink. It really shows that they care a lot about service. Would absolutely come back.“
