Golden Wok offers a blend of experiences that many consider the best Chinese food in Deerfield. While some diners enjoy the hot and delicious food like the out-of-this-world dumplings and the best sweet and sour chicken they’ve ever had, others find it just okay. The service is often praised for being friendly and great, making diners feel right at home. Many customers mention that the food is very consistent and good, with affordable prices. The menu features authentic dishes like rice noodles and curry beef, along with tasty vegetarian options. Some diners enjoyed the crispy spring rolls, though a few wished for more veggies in their veggie lo mein. The restaurant's cleanliness and portion sizes are debated, with some finding it a bit dirty while others appreciate the decent portion sizes. Ample free parking is available, and the food is always ready when promised. Many customers highly recommend this cozy spot and look forward to returning, especially for favorites like wonton soup and egg rolls. The delivery service is noted for being friendly and reliable, adding to the overall positive experience at Golden Wok.
