“Five Stars from a Gringo Who Fell in Love with Venezuelan Comfort Food

This place isn’t just my wife’s favorite Venezuelan restaurant—it’s her comfort zone. Every time we walk in, it’s like someone opened a door to her childhood. The smells, the music, the way the staff greets her like she’s family—it’s beautiful to watch. And honestly, that alone would earn this place five stars.

But here’s the part that really matters to me: I’m not Venezuelan. I’m the cringo in the corner trying to pronounce “cachapa” without sounding like I’m ordering a Pokémon. And yet, they never make me feel out of place. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely excited to share their culture. They walk you through the menu like they’re inviting you into their home kitchen.

I’ve learned to love the food, sure—but I’ve also learned to love how this place makes people feel. Whether you grew up eating arepas or you’re just curious and hungry, they make you feel welcome. And that’s rare.

So yeah, five stars. Not just for the food, but for the feeling.“

“Stumbled upon little Greek fresh Grill tonight. This place is way better than the previous Gyro place that was here which was Souvlaki Fast. If you like Gyro sandwiches or planters this is definitely the place to go in the area because I’ve tried them all and over the years. All of them went downhill. This one has fresh food, great service, and the boss is super friendly. All the food was fresh and serve served hot. All the toppings were great as well and the tzatziki was also delicious. I highly recommend this place. They have a special on Tuesday and Thursday where if you buy a pita you get a free side. Try it you’ll like it. 😋“

“I love GOOD Thai food and I always order Pad Thai. Kan's Thai Kitchen had EXCELLENT Pad Thai and Pad See Ew.

The chef must have a high BTU and a narrowly focused flame because the wok hei was real and so real that the food stayed hot for so long. We ordered MILD for both and just as the server said, mild has some heat and it was so good.

“We have been going to Uzzo for years and every time we come the food is great. We typically get two of the dips as an appetizer and split a main entree and leave happy and full. The staff is all very friendly and we feel welcomed every time.

P.S. the Bomonti Turkish beer is worth a try if you’ve never had it before.“

“We dined here on Tuesday night. The French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had. The seafood crepes were also delicious. My hubby had the escargot and the duck which he also enjoyed. The bread pudding was a very nice ending to our meal. This was our 3rd time here and we will be back!“

“This place serves the freshest and most delicious food. The cooks take their time and meticulously prepare their dishes. They do offer takeout, but I’d encourage you to stay and enjoy your meal.

The place is clean, full kitchen view.
The prices are right.
The sauces are balance and the serving generous.
You must try this place at least once.
I've had and honestly, it is one of my favorite oriental places to eat well.

“Gave this place a try while in town on business food was excellent I had the Mongolian beef my buddy had the boneless spare ribs they were super tender I ordered the beef xtra spicy and they delivered a nice spicy meal that was super tasty and spicy enough to satisfy me we also ordered the crab Rangoon and I usually prefer the flower shaped ones these were the triangle shaped ones but had a great flavor delivery was fast and the meal arrived hot don’t hesitate to give these guys a try giving it 2 thumbs up 👍👍“

“My family and I have been going here for 8 years. We currently drive from West Boca to pick up our food as no other place can compare. We tried to find places closer but have alwaya been disappointed. It's well worth the drive. However tonight we noticed they changed how the boneless spare ribs were made. Not sure why they made this change but hope they go back to the old way. Still good, it's just not the same as has been my favorite for the past 8 years!“

“We were a group of 11 and Claudia was our server. At times she was assisted by Vivian and others, who's names I didn't see. The service was super. All of the orders came out correctly and, more importantly, hot. Also, we were given extra bread and salad before we had to ask.“

“This is a good spot. Food is always hot and made just how I like. They aren't stingy with the Duck & Soy Sauce and the prices aren't too bad. Thanks for your consistency! I usually get the steamed chicken and Broccoli ? with white rice ?. I think you all give too much sauce on the side. I never use it all so maybe next time save some for yourself or get smaller containers“
