“For a take-out only restaurant, we were surprised at the quality of the food -- as well as the quantity. I'd driven by this place before, but there'd never been any open parking spots. It's in a different type of location -- a very small strip of businesses with only a few spots in front -- in the middle of a residential location. We were driving by between lunch and dinner and decided to stop to bring some food home for a later meal. When we stopped by, we got to meet the owners and chef. They were both very welcoming and friendly. He told us about some special meals and made suggestions. He was preparing some blue crabs for his own lunch, and they looked wonderful. You can get some special meals here, off menu, if you preorder. We went with a couple of our usual choices so we could see how they compared. We ordered some pork with Chinese vegetables and an order of Singapore rice noodles. Plus, for me an order of egg roll. The rice noodles were such a large portion that it filled two containers. And we wound up eating several meals from our take home food. The eggroll was very good. I ate one right away! There were two to the order. It had a different crispy wrapper -- it seemed house made. And it was filled with larger bits of meat. I really liked it. There was a lot of large flat pork slices in with the vegetables. In a brown sauce, there was broccoli, bok choy, pea pods, etc. It came with a side container of white rice. The rice noodles were fragrant with curry, but it only had a slight kick (as in not too spicy). There were lots of shrimp, chicken, and pork strips mixed in with the thin noodles. This dish was addictive. We are so glad we stopped to try them. Really one of the better Chinese places we've tried and certainly one of the better take-out places. Wish they were closer, or we'd be there more often.“

“So we ordered catering for our engagement party of about 35 people. We ordered 3 create your own pasta stations which feed everyone plus left overs. Plenty of pasta, plenty of sauce, protein was definitely short for the amount of people but luckily we were able to spread it across everyone. It also comes with salad and bread sticks so that certain helped was worth it! Would order that again for catering.“
“Follow Your Dreams is amazing!! Went here on a whim after going to another one of the stores in the plaza and I'm glad I did! I got the curry goat dinner and it was delicious. “Well located where the Sweet Tomatoes restaurant served for ages at the hearth of Coral Springs, Fujimura Buffet & Sushi came to fill a void left for years in that area. Fujimura Buffet is not juts another oriental buffet restaurant like the ones we see all over everywhere. The place was well renovated, the atmosphere is right, all clean and well displayed. The food, to be honest, is not extraordinary but don’t get me wrong l, it will please the most exigent palates, but not a 5 star (yet), because a few dishes like oysters for example were not part of the buffet, as well the fried donuts for the dessert and other few “common” dishes offered in the well rated oriental buffets. Prices are very reasonable, maybe to call the attention and bring customers (I hope I am wrong lol). Personnel friendly, Amanda the waitress was very handy and always giving us an excellent service! Overall definitely a place to become a very well known. I hope and wish they keep up and improving the good work keeping the prices reasonable! So yes I recommend it! A+“

“Am a Chinese who grew up in Singapore so I am a fierce critic of authentic Chinese food. This place is run by Cantonese Chinese (including all kitchen staff) so you get the real deal. The roast duck was juicy and surprisingly very properly done - not oily, the right amount of doneness, and slight crispy skin. Also had the Wonton Noodles, which while I’ve had better elsewhere, is considered pretty good. It came with a general amount of plump wantons. Wished I’d come earlier as the BBQ pork and roast pork had sold out. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this is a place to eat at. The place is also well air-conditioned and clean. It’s hard to find such an authentic Asian eatery here in Miami that serves decent food.“

“Didn't dine in but had an order to go. The food was delicious. Flavors are authentic and that's something I've been looking for. I ordered tajadas de guineo (fried banana slice's), corn tamales , maduro, gallo pinto, popusa de frijoles, ensalada, tortillas de maíz, Jugo de tamarindo, and horchata, the order was 100% correct and complete. “Posting an updated review, because after nearly a year, King Chef has become my go-to local place for American-style Chinese takeout. Every single time I order, the food is prepared consistently well, portions are huge, and the price is outstanding. One of their dinner combos literally has enough food to feed me for like 3-4 meals, and only costs around $12. That's insane!! My only critique of the food is that things here are not spicy, even if they're indicated as such. Depending on your tastes though, that may be a positive! Point on spice aside, the flavor is on point and I always enjoy my food from this restaurant. If you're unsure of what to order given the big menu, here's a few dishes that are always standouts: - Honey Garlic Wings - Fried Rice (pork or shrimp especially) - Sesame Chicken - General Tso's Chicken - Wonton Soup - Hot & Sour Soup - Szechuan Pork or Chicken - Roast Pork with Chinese Vegetables I am honestly baffled by the recent negative reviews, and I seriously hope you don't let them discourage you from giving this place a try.
