Based on the reviews, The Wine Room Kitchen & Bar is a consistently excellent restaurant with fantastic food and a truly outstanding wine program. The atmosphere is great, and even when busy, it is not loud. The service is top-notch, with talented bartenders who are attentive and make everyone feel welcomed. The food is excellent, with one exception being the filet, as a guest had a better steak at Outback. However, the Pork Chops with Peppercorn Sauce and Mashed Potatoes are incredible. Other excellent dishes include the Coq Au Vin, BBQ Roasted Black Cod, and Faroe Island Salmon. Must-order appetizers are the Jumbo Lump Crab and Colossal Jumbo Shrimp, both pristine and incredibly fresh. Other highly recommended items include the Deviled Eggs, Tuna Tartare, Roasted Garlic Hummus, Whipped Ricotta, and Confit Chicken Lollies. The steak tartare is one of the best ever had. The cheese program is expertly curated and outstanding. However, one guest had a frustrating experience with a togo order, involving being hung up on multiple times by the host before the order was finally taken. Despite this, guests report having a great time and will be back.
