“We recently visited Lazy Lobster in Longboat Key, Florida, with a group of friends. It was my first time there, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem as friendly as I've experienced in other places. Additionally, our food took quite a while to be ready. However, despite these initial setbacks, the food was truly outstanding, and the drinks were equally impressive. The unexpected quality of the food definitely made up for any shortcomings in service. I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors, especially considering the restaurant's unassuming appearance. I was also pleased to find that they offer gluten-free options, which is always a plus. Compared to other restaurants in Longboat Key, Lazy Lobster is reasonably priced. “We had Jacob as our waiter and it was hands down the best service I've ever had !!!! His recommendations were 10/10 the service was 10/10. The nachos were enough to feed a family of 4 @$13.50. I would 100 percent recommend coming here and 100 percent recommend Jacob as a waiter !!!!“
“We came to this location for the first time! When walking in it seemed very unorganized, but once we were seated we were hopeful. We sat in RJ’s section- what a friendly super welcoming waiter. He made us feel very welcome even made us laugh a few times. He continued to check on us and was exceptional at his job. We will definitely be back and ask for his section next time. We ordered the chef special boil with medium heat, omg everything was so delish. Muah“

Modern Chop is our favorite restaurant in Bradenton.Dietary restrictions: My wife has a very sensitive stomach and they were able to cook everything she ordered without oil, butter, or seasoning! “Been here twice now and it's good coffee and the breakfast sandwiches are good but a few points that lose that 5th star - for now.Iced coffee should be more coffee than ice but both times it was mostly ice.Food wise it was good but not exactly what I ordered so that's not good.The chairs are cute but uncomfortable. The cashier is nice.Maybe when it's warmer sitting outside would be nice.We'll come back I'm sure. Maybe I have to be more specific when I order.“
“Food came extremely fast & hot! Calamari was good but very small portion for $20. Our pasta dishes had alot of flavor. Waitress wasn't the greatest. She never refilled our drinks nor checked on us after we got our food. Overall, we will definitely return.“
“We had a great experience eating lunch at Whiskey Joe’s. When we got there a little bit before 12 noon on a Sunday, it wasn’t too busy, but the place quickly filled up. With beautiful weather and outdoor seating directly on the water, everyone preferred to sit outside. They have a large outdoor bar too, which is nice if you are just looking to grab drinks with a beautiful view. We ordered several different foods, including the loaded island fries, wings, grouper sandwich, tiki chicken breast, and jambalaya. Everything was delicious and the island fries were even filling enough to serve as an entree. The service was also excellent. Overall, we enjoyed the meal and the view made it even better. We will definitely be back again!“
