“I've lived here for 12 years and had never gone in because the building from the outside looks like a fine dining restaurant, meaning you would get dressed up to go there. My friend took me there because she wanted to get a gyro and said that they had good food and good service. When I walked in I couldn't believe it!!! It was so casual in the setting was like a pizzeria. The service was excellent, the food was excellent! They do sell pizza, specialty sandwiches, spaghetti and other items. I had the lasagna, because that is my ultimate favorite dish. It was awesome! Prices are very reasonable. I can't believe that I've overlooked this little gem of a restaurant. This is my new favorite place to go to!“

“I had a problem with tonight's order and Brock a crew leader made it right with no problems no hesitation and while we are waiting for the order my car actually went dead from having the doors open and the kids playing he was nice enough to come and jump us off I recommend used to sonics and the crew they're amazing and I give them a big thumbs up thank you“

“We found Eden Abbey after looking into event spaces in our area, which we had a great experience with when we went with their private room, but will definitely be back time and time again for their amazing food and drink menu and family friendly vibes. The staff were friendly and on top of things each time we’ve been. All around a great local place to visit whether it be just to hang out, for a family dinner, or a special event.“

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“We’ve been meaning to try this place for a while, Peach Valley Café gets the green light from us. The food is well-portioned and tasty, the staff is very friendly (they were happy to re-seat us when we decided to switch from indoors to the porch) and the atmosphere is chill. Courtney, our server, was fantastic. Check it out! P.S. Peach Valley, your billboard down the road is how we heard about you.“

“As a huge Jules Verne fan, walking into this shop for the first time and seeing the theming was absolutely incredible. I can't count how many times I've been back, and every time is always fantastic. I have never met a friendlier staff at any establishment, and every person on the staff of them knows how I prefer my drinks. I cannot recommend this place enough.“

“This place is one of the best places to eat out in downtown MountDora. Me and my family stopped here to grab some pizza’s, we ended up trying subs, wings, salads, good thing we did because this was the best food ever, jayden was such a nice young man taking are orders because they were so busy he also came back multiple times checking in on us and making sure we were ok. i give this place a 10/10 and definitely recommend you to try.“

“My wife and I found this place about a year ago while looking for local coffee shops. I am always surprised by how balanced the seasonal coffee options are, no matter how crazy they sound! It's really tough to find places that have intriguing new flavors, but also find the right balance so the drink isn't all syrup or flavor. Anyway, we love this little shop and appreciate the time you put into your coffee options!“

“While in town visiting for the weekend, we visited Maggie's attic three times. I believe every weekend they have either beer or wine sip n shops on Saturday evening, and in addition to having an immense selection of beer and wine, they have a small bar where you can get a glass of wine and sit on one of their mini couches or love seats and enjoy great conversation. They are dog friendly too!“

Do not waste your time and money...my opinion....some thought it was ok.... crowded, disorganized, no place to sit, food ordered at the register, no staff, slow operation very slow food "handed out." So called garden area dirty with critters dropping from trees. Reuben lunch in the garbage.“

“This place is a hidden gem. It gets busy and you do have to wait on your food but it's worth it. It's not a McDonalds! Atmosphere is the best I've seen in this area. Live entertainment on the weekends and some of the best musicians in Lake County. I give this place a five star because Food was excellent and service was good. I came with a group unexpectedly of 20 and EVERYBODY was happy. That's rare for our group. I highly recommend this place.“

“We visit Pisces Rising several times a year and love their food and drink, happy hour is great. They do need to alter their recipe for the Poke Stack.....it's all fresh, but had a huge top layer of wonton and thick bottom layer of rice, making the whole thing really dry. If they just eliminated those items, it would be much better.“

“This is the worst bar in Mount Dora. If you want to have a bad time. Go here. We showed up to the bar at 10 pm on a Saturday and ordered one drink per person. While my friends went to the bathroom, the bartender walked up to our table and took away our purchased drinks for no reason. The "manager", Mark came up and told me that we weren't welcome anymore. I asked why and he had no answer. I asked why again and he had no answer. Then after multiple times questioning, he said , "your too intoxicated" We were literally sober. The manager then physically intimidated us and forced us to leave. I'll never go to this bar again I live in this town and frequent town regularly. I'll never recommend anyone go to this bar for food or drink. What a top to bottom terrible experience. If you enjoy a good time, skip this bar.“

Tonight I got the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and baked beans… even more amazing!! Best brisket I have ever had! Mac and cheese was amazing!! Sweet tea was amazing also! Highly recommend!!“

Fruits & salads available as well. Dinner is served at 3:30pm-9:00pm. Price is 17.99 for dinner. Lunch 11-3:30pm is 12.99. Plenty of parking available. This is a buffet not fine dining. I went with my son, he enjoyed it very much.“

“Very good food….had lunch outside on the patio today, which is beautiful. Our waiter was very accommodating…..hip was bothering me, so he brought me a fluffy cushion to sit on. Also recommended a wonderful white wine. Perfect lunch…..excellent food!“
