“Our family went for dim sum here for the first time last Sunday. The restaurant was larger than I expected—clean, comfortable, and with prompt, friendly service. We arrived around 11am when it was about two‑thirds full, and it quickly filled up after we were seated.
We ordered more than ten types of dim sum, along with Young Chow Fried Rice and Beef Ho Fun. Everything tasted good except the Fried Taro Dumplings, which were below my expectation, and the Beef Meatballs, which were a bit too salty.
As someone Chinese who is very picky about Chinese food, I consider this one of the best dim sum options in town for both quality and price. I’ll definitely be back.“

“I went last month with my family and the food was GREAT and the staff were all so sweet! We all sat down to eat there (there aren't many tables but you still can! I think people mostly order takeout). We did order a lot of food (to eat and to-go) and you can tell they were so grateful. And we were too, the food is DELICIOUS!! A month later and I'm still thinking about it. Next time I'm in the area I'm going back. Can't recommend it enough!! Also they give you cute bags for your takeout food and I love that detail so much. Their customer service was above and beyond! Such sweet, lovely people :) Also, the prices are AWESOME!! The food comes in large sizes with smaller options as well. Such a great option if you want cheaper but quality/yummy food!“

“I have finally found a local restaurant that serves Hainanese chicken rice the way I remember as a child visiting my late grandparents in Lampang, Northern Thailand. Thank you Chef A.J. & Staff for serving me & my Thai family delicious Thai comfort food yesterday evening the way we enjoyed when visiting Thailand. We hope someday you will expand your tiny restaurant somewhere in Orlando to bring more of your delicious cuisine to the masses. In the meantime, we wish you continued success, & hope to be back to visit you again soon for some more of your delicious menu items.“

Best i had since going to philly. Hour drive was more than worth it 100/10. Cherry on top its not expensive and the inside is gorgeous.“

“One of the best Chinese spots in Orlando. Super underrated and hidden hole in the wall spot. For the most part every time I go in it’s always the same hard working woman in the kitchen and running it all by herself. Portions are always all generous. Get the combo platter. Best bang for your buck. I highly recommend the bourbon chicken and the general Tso’s!“

“When we arrived, there was only one other person eating here and it was relatively quiet. The man who took our order was so sweet and very polite as well punctual. “First time walking in this China 🇨🇳 Star ⭐️. Bought the bourbon chicken with fried rice, a vegetable egg roll and a soup. Everything was fabulous, the egg roll was perfect 🤩 and wasn’t greasy at all! Rice and chicken 🐔 were also great, fabulous place. Large portion under $15 for all this, I will return again soon 🔜. I didn’t even know this Chinese restaurant was even here. I shop a lot in winter park and was happy there’s one close to where I live. Thank you and keep up the good work.“

“Love to get takeout from here because some of us want Chinese, and some like Thai! Great options for both. We have dined in a few times and sadly each time it is just not a great vibe inside - maybe it's the lighting or lack of customers. We will continue with takeout!“

“Legitemately the best Chinese takeout of all time. My husband grew up with this place, when we met he introduced me and I knew I could never eat at any other Chinese takeout again! The quality at Wah Yoan is unmatched! We don't even live in the are anymore and I still send my husband 30 mins away to pick it up or willingly pay a long distance delivery fee specifically to get it from here. A problem I've had with other Chinese takeout places (besides quality in general) is the fried items always taste nasty like bad oil and chicken pieces are typically... odd. I'm very particular about chicken. At Wah Yoan though? I will eat an entire container of chicken without thinking twice! Their fried items are the absolute best as well. I love their egg rolls. It's hard to recommend one thing because actually everything is good, but I would say the honey chicken is a stand out! I will continuing spreading the Wah Yoan gospel, please never close shop!!“

“Tried this restaurant for the first time through delivery and overall it was a really good. The shrimp egg roll was delicious and tasty. The wonton soup was great after adding a little soy sauce. The shrimp fried rice was good. The fried chicken was flavorful, but it was a little overcooked which made it dry. The crab Rangoon was ok. The cream cheese inside was good, but it needed crab. I would definitely order from then again.“

“I have been going to this little restaurant which is like a little takeout spot like in New York for quite some time now plus knowing the people who run this establishment are from NY and The food is delicious like New York Food but shouldn’t be NY prices and it is!! I’ve always been greeted kindly and respectfully but coming here today was a little challenging with the short girl at The Front counter taking orders was so nasty with a attitude,She was rolling her eyes with a stink face, when I taken my order like she didn't want to take my order . When I usually come in, it’s the young man I think his name is Eric, He is so nice with the best Customer Service and he’s treats people like family , that’s a New York thing that’s why I love this place, I think he is from NY , So it’s a delight to see New Yorkers here in Florida that treat you like family when you enter an establishment to buy their food that’s how Customer Service is but the girl that was at The counter was nasty. even the food was nasty today and the food is always great here. I give 4 stars for The young man Eric who is so nice , Today Was a big disappointment. Eric is there he make sure that the food is done correctly and the way you like it the managers and the owners of this establishment should give high praise to Eric. he does a wonderful job but the short girl was very nasty .She might be having a bad but she needs to handle stress in a more well manner way to greet customers professionally and respectfully.“

“What an absolute gem of a place. I cannot describe to you how delicious this is. They even toned down the spiciness of it for me. We got like 3 pounds of food for 30 bucks. Ordering was great and they didn't have the usual problem with these kinds of places where they have zero English skills. Make sure to support these guys they deserve it.“

“I'm a Chinese guy but I'm not gonna lie. It's tough to find good general Tsos chicken. Usually mostly breading or a sauce that's too thick or sweet. The online order gave the option for level of heat when i put it in and asked for very spicy. I upgraded to lo mein for 1.50 more. The sauce was spicy and light with the perfect sweetness. The chicken was crispy but actually had real chicken inside. The lo mein was not flooded with soy and it had a really wonderful taste. I will most definitely be back soon. The lady at the counter was also super nice. 5 stars all the way!“

“glad to have found a local chinese food spot nearby to frequent. exactly the kind of place you’d want for this kinda thing. reasonably priced, very large portions that taste amazing and always come fresh and very hot. tastes amazing, and takes care of lunch the next day with leftovers ;3 we love this place! they allow spice customizations for plenty of their popular dishes- heavily recommend the orange chicken with medium spice, general tso’s with extra spice, and yangzhou fried rice! super awesome stuff.“

“The food is surprisingly fresh, this is something I did not expect tbh. Just like meals that is fresh cooked and served in my dinner when I was in my country. Even the egg rolls is crispy and fresh. This ease my homesick appetizer.
For a long time I have not found good Asian food like that around. More importantly, it is as cheap as fast food but restaurant quality.
The flavor is so good. The price is low while the portion is HUGE. I ate a lot (my mom always complains that I eat like a man) and still can make it into 2 meals.
I will come back for sure. This is the first time I've tried their food so hopefully the quality will be consistent.“

“I think this place offers one of the most affordable and tasty Singapore Mai fun i have come across for the past 2 years ! The lady at the counter is really friendly without making you feel pressured to order. they can adjust the taste according to your reasonable requests eg extra spicy , less salt etc you get the drill lol! The portion is pretty good and they have a good variety of food choices, including lunch specials that are around $8 ! There are some tables and chairs for dine-in at this simple and clean eatery.“

“China Palace is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in Orlando. Yes, from the outside it may not look like anything fancy — but don’t let that fool you. If you care more about incredible food than décor and aesthetics, this is the place to go.
She has the absolute best fried rice in Orlando — no exaggeration. Everything is flavorful, fresh, and consistently delicious.
What makes this place even more special is the heart behind it. The same owner has been running this restaurant for over 50 years, and she truly works so hard every single day. It’s only her running the entire restaurant, and she does it with a smile, great timing, and top-notch customer service. She’s always friendly, always on point, and you can feel the pride she takes in her food.“

“Had to ask for two chopsticks. They only wanted to give me one. When we got back, we realized they hadn’t even given us spoons for the soup? They knew, one would think, that we were staying at a hotel because I tried to pay them with my Hilton room key to begin with!
Also noticed the $.99 extra fee for online ordering. They said that the online people charge them that and that there wouldn’t have been a charge if I’d ordered over the phone. Ha ha.
We just did a takeout. The wonton soup was very decent and so were the veggies.
I had to reduce the rating because of the two issues.“

“I am very picky about Chinese restaurants. This one has been consistently very good over the years. Personally, I have never had a complaint. I usually get a combination, but I also get soup, fried rice, and egg rolls a large carte. Just had shrimp and lobster sauce combo, and the SLC was SO GOOD. 4 shrimp for a combo, and they were MASSIVE. Every time I go, the restaurant is clean outside in the front and inside.“

“China Star was consistently recommended to me and finally tried it. It was some of the best Chinese food I’ve found in Orlando. I had no intentions on ordering the General Tso Chicken but after reading the reviews, I was convinced to order it. It was super delicious; spicy and tangy and the chicken was crispy. Two thumbs up! I also ordered the fried dumplings which were also really good.“

“Classic American Chinese food! Hop-Bo has all the basics and more!Service is fast, food has great flavor and it's close to where I live. Hop Bo has become a weekly staple at our house. Each time the food is consistently good.Pictured is the Mongolian beef (which you can pick the spice level, but you need to tell them) with an egg roll and the Kung pow chicken (also spicy). Egg rolls are crispy and our spicy dishes were just the right amount of spice.Highly recommend as your go-to Chinese food place.“
“My mom and I are vegetarians, so we have a hard time finding good Asian food that accommodates that. We loved Asian House, but that unfortunately closed down. My mom saw great reviews on Facebook for Mr. Wok and after trying it, we loved it! The food was hot and delicious. The portions were reasonable for the price, in my opinion. I'm sure we will be frequenting this place regularly, I'm sure.“

“Best Chinese food in Orlando … food quality , service and cleanliness are excellent… two years ago we went there by accident and since then we haven’t buy Chinese any other place … also location and parking are great, as well as accurate timing … if they tells you food will be ready in 15 minutes … I assure you , is ready in 15 minutes !

“If you Google "China Star" your order will be hijacked by Door Dash. They have marked up the prices ($3.50 for plain lo mein vs. $2.75 if you order at the counter or by phone) as well as assessing a delivery fee and mandating a tip. Evidently they don't "get" the idea that the faster they get it to your door, the bigger the tip. Although the checkout allows you to select "pickup" the web genie will not process an order unless you select "delivery".In other words, China Star is great — and needs to cut all ties with DoorDash“

“I love this place for their lunch special is only $12.99. I go here once a week. The food, service and atmosphere have always been top notch. The lunch special is a wonderful bargain because it comes with a dim sum appetizer, soup, entre and a dim sum dessert. Amazing and always delicious. I have tried all of the items on the lunch menu and all are great. My favorites are the Mongolian Beef and Shrimp with Broccoli. They offer their Dim Sum menu all the time, a great place to meet with friends for something different. The photo is Shu Mai for an appetizer, Hot and Sour soup, Shrimp with Broccoli, and a Sesame Bun for dessert.“
