And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ended the meal with the Nutella Pizza with Bananas. How is it even possible for every single item to be this amazing? But it’s not just the food; the atmosphere and staff elevate the experience to a whole new level. Katherine, our server, was outstanding. She made us feel completely at home and had spot-on recommendations for everything. We even got to meet Marco, who may be the owner or GM, and either way, he’s clearly got a gift for running an extraordinary establishment. “I recently attended an event at the Amway Center. Arriving early I decided to grab a bite to eat on Church Street. I found a menu attached to an outside window of Cucina Pizza & Bar. The menu items were many. I chose to eat inside, although they have a large outside eating area with umbrellas. Andrew was my waiter, a very nice and knowledgeable individual. I ordered an Italian sub, and ask if it could be toasted. Jimmy the cook built me a wonderful sub, just as I ask it to be made. There was plenty of staff, and they all seemed friendly & efficient. When I go back to the Amway Center for an event, Cucina’s will definitely be my restaurant of Choice. Much success.“

“In town for a business event and happened to find this gem of a restaurant. I was lucky to be seated quickly because 85% of the tables were reserved. The staff was the most friendly and eager to please. Alexa in particular was dealing with some rather demanding customers, and she did it with a smile and grace. The six formaggi pizza was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had- the crust was stuffed with ricotta and I was in heaven. The Gorgonzola was a very forward flavor, so if bleu cheeses aren’t your favorite I’d make the pizza a five formaggi instead. The chocolate mousse was also light and delicate. I will go out of my way to return on future trips to the area.“

“We LOVE this place! My whole family is allergic to wheat, eggs and dairy and I'm also allergic to tomatoes. They put olive oil on my crust in place of the sauce and accommodate all of our allergies. They are also willing to put quite a large amount of topings on our pizzas. This is hands down our fav place to go out to eat. Their lemonade is also as sweet as pie if you like that kind of thing. :)“

Now for the gripe, because there is one. The beer list leans hard into IPAs. Like… aggressively. If you’re into that, you’ll be thrilled. If you’re not, your options shrink fast. Lagers are there, sure—but for those of us who don’t want either a pinecone explosion or something ultra-light, it’s slim pickings.

All I’m asking for is one good brown or porter on tap. Just one. Not a full lineup, not a seasonal rotation, just a single solid, darker option so it doesn’t feel like a one-note beer menu. No one needs six variations of the same IPA—spread the love a little.

Overall, it’s a great spot that’s this close to being a go-to. Just give the non-IPA crowd a bone and you’ve got something for everyone.
