“We brought our aunt to the Las Olas location for her 75th Birthday. We all had a different cut of meat and they all were excellent and cooked perfectly. The Sausage and Empenadas were also very good. Service was top notch, you definitely know you are having a fine dining experience. Wish we weren’t here just on vacation it would be our new regular place for steak. Hopefully they will continue to expand up the coast and eventually open a location in our home city of Daytona Beach“

It all started a week ago when she ordered the chef salad from this place. When I saw it, I was instantly intrigued by its appearance. I asked her to let me know when she would order from here again.Today, when I was craving some good food, I wondered what I should have. I decided to go with the same salad my assistant had, but with chicken added. Let me tell you, the portion was generous, loaded with ample amounts of chicken, and the lettuce and tomatoes felt incredibly fresh.What impressed me even more was that the dressing came in a separate container, ensuring that the lettuce remained crisp and never turned soggy. The packaging of the food was well-done, and they even included utensils, which was a thoughtful touch.The only downside I encountered was that they don't open every day. They operate from Wednesday to Sunday. So, if you're planning to indulge in their delicious offerings, make sure to plan your visit accordingly.Although I haven't dined in at this place yet since my assistant always opts for takeout, I understand that the presentation may not be the best. However, that's to be expected from a casual dining establishment, where the focus is on the food rather than the fine dining experience.I must say, I am definitely coming back for this salad in the future. Veroccas Sweet and Salty Café is an absolute gem! Everything we had was delicious and clearly made with care. We tried the chicken empanadas, a variety of pastries, a cortado, and mate cocido — all authentic and full of flavor. You can really taste that everything is homemade.

We were also served by the owner, Veronica, which made the experience even more special. She was warm, welcoming, and proud to share the traditional flavors of Argentina.

If you want to enjoy authentic Argentine food made in-house, this is the place to go. I highly recommend Veroccas Sweet and Salty Café!“

“I felt like family after a few minutes. Very nice staff. Got avocado toast with perfect poached egg and tomato slice on multigrain bread and it has everything bagel seasoning on it. Yummy. Comes with tea or coffee. I got some coquitos ( coconut cookies) so many good cakes and pastries!! Great looking sandwiches too. Family owned and operated. Can come and just come and hang out do ur work on computer or whatever. Really nice. Totally recommend this place.“

Visited several times from KY, and fell in love with the amazing food, professional and friendly staff + atmosphere. The food was the best and nothing has ever tasted so delicious. Nothing is greasy nor salty and will not disappoint. I was especially impressed by the sweetest general manager, Lorena, and our server, Tomas. Lorena takes her time to visit every customer, making sure they have a pleasant experience and getting to know them. She even remembered us from the prior year when we last visited. Tomas was also very friendly and an amazing server. If you are visiting the area, one thing is for certain, make sure to stop in and visit this once in a lifetime restaurant, as you will not be disappointed.
