About Freda's Dominican Cuisine

Freda's Dominican Cuisine has received good things. The chicken and beef stew was amazing, and the rice and maduros were great. The service was impeccable, with a very family feeling atmosphere. The restaurant itself was very clean and modern with a fun vibe. The flan is offered in multiple flavors, and the coconut flan was amazing. Freda's is definitely worth the 35 minute drive. The chimi was the greatest tasting chimi, with spectacular taste, reminding one of mother's cooking — top notch. The food is incredibly authentic, and the whole concept reminds one of home. The service is just as wonderful. A last minute catering order for a daughter's birthday was graciously handled, and everything was even delivered. The food, service, and price are everything you want in a day time Luncheria. Then there is the flan — 1000/10. The food was amazing — hands down the best Dominican food in South Florida. The customer service was outstanding from the moment one walked in. The Mangú Tres Golpes & Carne Guisada Con Arroz Con Gandules Y Maduro Un Vaso Con Morirsoñado was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. For authentic Dominican cuisine and excellent service, this is definitely the place to visit. The Chicharron Mofongo was absolutely delicious, filled with delicious pork and very filling. The staff was also very kind and helpful, extremely polite and happy to be there.
