Dare I say, the smoked meat is better than Schwartz’s.
I was so surprised and happy to find this place! I haven’t been home to Montreal in a few years, so it’s safe to say I really miss home. ❤️
Finding a place that brought a little piece of Montreal to me was such a nostalgic and wonderful surprise. I ordered the poutine and a smoked meat sandwich, and everything tasted exactly like I was back home in Montreal, eating at La Belle Province.

Hollywood’s Smoked Meat is a place that brings a little piece of Montreal to its customers. The smoked meat sandwich tastes exactly like Montreal, and the poutine is authentic. The steamie is tasty, and the Reuben is very good. The smoked meat deli sandwich is just like the picture on the menu. The fresh made fries and fresh made coleslaw are very good, and the pinsa and poutine are very good as well. The hot dogs are next on the list. The food is good, just a bit pricey. Two hotdogs and a personal pizza are almost $30 with tip included. The atmosphere is great, and the people are nice, considerate, and very friendly. The staff keep you smiling and laughing the whole time. The food is weighed so you can track what you eat. This joint is highly recommended if you want a slice of Quebec, Canada. One time, the doors were locked on a day they said it was open.
