“Stopped in on a whim one late afternoon because I was starving and wasn’t sure what to expect. I ordered the merguez sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The add-on options were extensive, and while I waited they even gave me two complimentary falafel balls. The place was very clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A true hidden gem of a hole-in-the-wall. I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu“

“We brought a party of 11. The team did great. We all had a long day and wanted some quick grub. Corbin, Chris and Josh helped us out so much. The food and service were excellent. There was ample seating for us as well. The overall restaurant we clean and well kept. I would recommend anything they have as everyone enjoyed their sub. Plus everyone took leftovers for a late night snack.“

“Stopped by The Original Subcafe and wow! The food does not disappoint! I had the Philly #1 and my friends ordered the Cuban steak sandwich. We all shared the Cuban toast, which was the perfect start to the meal. Everything was absolutely delicious, you can really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The flavors are bold and authentic, exactly what you’d hope for from a Cuban spot.

The service is just what you’d expect from a busy Cuban café: fast-paced, minimal small talk when it’s crowded, but always friendly and willing to chat when things slow down. “This is a stand alone location on a busy road. We ordered inside, so we parked. The parking lot is all the way in the back, so you need to be careful when walking to the building (walking with the drive thru traffic) The cashier was pleasant and helpful. The food properly prepared. Most patrons seem to use the drive thru and that seemed quick for them, although we were there at 8pm. We would return.“

It's a paradox because we eat totally vegan most of the time but when there's goat curry this good there is just no stopping. Fantastic food, reasonable prices and super, super nice people.“

“I don’t know what to say, it was a good sub. But they refunded half my order, leading to multiple refunds and me not leaving with enough food. I was also accosted by a homeless man outside and inside this establishment, he was screaming obscenities at the wind with half his butt hanging out, smelling like hot garbage and bo, doing one of those things where he says hi to you like he’s going to be mad if you don’t reply to him, and then when you do Turing around and trying to trash talk me and the other customers, trying to bond with the employees over it and how other people are drunks, using the bathroom and buying nothing, insulting me as I have to stand there getting everything refunded. It was just uncomfortable and my only time coming in here and I live right next door. This whole area kind of doesn’t feel safe anymore, it’s amazing if they feed him or something and let him use the bathroom, everyone needs to do those things. But if you do that please protect us walking in especially those alone at night. They were also out of garlic bread, a salad and Mac and cheese. And didn’t really do anything to make it up.“
