SOOODS: Thai Noodles is a great local spot in Fort Lauderdale for authentic and delicious Thai food. The restaurant offers Thai soup, noodles, and rice dishes, along with various appetizers. The ambiance is nice, clean, and quiet, with a small and quaint setting featuring booths and tables. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling, with servers speaking Thai with customers as a good indicator of authenticity.
The food is perfectly spiced and seasoned. Popular dishes include the dry khao soi, beef Chiang Mai Khao soi, Tom Yum noodle soup with ground pork, pad see ew, and Chicken Noodle Soup with rice noodles. The Tod Man Goong shrimp appetizer is crispy and seasoned well, and the Corn Cakes are delicious corn fritters served with a clear, sweet, garlic sauce. For dessert, the mango rice dessert, Thai iced tea soft serve, and Mango Sticky Rice are perfect endings to a great meal. Prices are reasonable, and the service is top notch.
