We arrived at the airport off a cruise at 9am and the airline wouldn’t let us in until 2 hours before the flight so we spent many hours beside this stand and got a breakfast sandwich. When we first arrived they were out of bagels but they got more in about 15 min. It was tasty but the sausage to bagel ratio was off. The patty was so small in comparison to the bagel. But in the baggage claim are the only options were this or Starbucks.
We were rushing to get to our gate after a long TSA crawl!!! We were starving and knew there was not going to be a decent meal on our flight? My wife jumped into a medium sized line? I ran to the gate to see what we were in for? So I wasn’t even at the restaurant to pick a sandwich. My wife got me a chicken sandwich and herself a turkey Cali and sides. I was pleasantly surprised to see and taste a good chicken breast sandwich? And when your hungry everything tastes better. Wife...
When one is in an airport, one is a captive audience. So we found ourselves last week at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport awaiting our flight. My wife and I ordered tuna sandwiches which were fine, but over $10 each with tax. Although the sandwiches were ok, I couldn't get the high prices out of my brain. Elsewhere I would have moved on, but in a crowded airport during Thanksgiving week, this was just fine, though overpriced.
