Torn Basil Reviews
typical Airport, couldn't give a stuff about customers Restraunt, food pretty average presentation garbage and very expensive, Drinks very expensive, owners will always argue that the over price is due to the logistics of operating in a secure environment, there is slight validity in this, however most are still a rip off with no competion so can do as they please with complete disregard for customers, also be aware 18 bucks gratuity on the check so you have already tipped when...read full review
Beware, they purposely don't give you an itemized receipt so you can't tell that an 18% tip is auto added. I caught it. Asked if taxes and fees were high, he gave no answer nor explained that the tip was included which I learned after I had him print an itemized one. Scummy! They won't see me there again.
VERY RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL staff. They should be very ashamed of themselves because of how they treat airport passengers knowing how airports can be sometimes overwhelming and chaotic.
Torn Basil is a restaurant located in the Fort Lauderdale airport that offers a variety of tasty pizzas, including the popular Little Italy and Mushroom options. Customers have enjoyed the great pizza, especially the white chicken and Little Italy with pepperoni, which are made with hot, fresh ingredients and real Italian sausage. The service can be a bit slow at times due to a busy staff, but they make efforts to accommodate customers, with some servers providing friendly, quick service. The food is described as flavorful, and while the prices may be higher than expected, many find the quality worth it. Torn Basil also has a limited menu that includes wings, cocktails, and beer, making it a good choice for those looking to enjoy a meal or drink. Recent customer reviews mention positive experiences with the food, service, and overall atmosphere, describing the pizzas as very good, the dining area as clean, and the server as a sweetheart.
