“I Just want to say I started here as a server.I have served in several different reastrants.This restraunt is family owned and managed and they are great at it.This is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever worked at.I have seen this restaurant inside and out and it is exceptionally clean all the way through storage,kitchen and all the places customers don't see.The staff cleans it daily.The food comes out fast and the customers clean their plates and say how delicious it was.The owners and servers are great and they all work together to make sure everyone has a great dinning experience and it has a great atmosphere.Even if the server position don't work out for me I still want everyone to know how great this Restaurant is.Thanks”

“We've lived in FM for 5 years and China House has been consistently good. After the pandemic they closed the dine-in eating, but that's okay and understandable. Food is always piping hot when we get it home. Very nice family owns and operates the restaurant.”

“You Be Sweet Bakery has been amazing to work with! Megan was the best and was so patient & did exactly what we wanted for our cake with the hidden mickeys. Our guests raved about our wedding cake and how it tasted. We were destination wedding, so we were super worried about not being able to do any taste testings with them, but so glad it didn’t disappoint! They have a ton of flavors & fillings to choose from, too. It was definitely one of my favorite details of our wedding day. 🥰”

“I was traveling from Walchua back home to my home in Davenport when I stopped by this McDonalds in Fort Mead off Hwy 17. I went drive thru. I was waited on by a very, nice, friendly, and professional McDonalds employee. I even compliment her bcoz not all McDonald's employees are friendly. It was a pleasure to have eaten at this restaurant.”

“Out-of-towner happy to have landed at Zest for a late, Sunday afternoon lunch on a day trip to tour Bartow's interesting Wonder House, with quick, unplanned visits to the L.B. Brown House Museum and the Bartow History Center. Located on a side street a couple of blocks from the old town square Zest has a quiet, unassuming appearance with off-street parking and an outside, covered dining patio. Inside seating includes booths, tables and the bar in a large, high-ceilinged, sort of dimly lit dining area with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Regan, (I think was her name) was efficient, and attentive and just right friendly. Our food - we both had fish and chips with cole slaw - was excellent - the slaw was good - chunky cut with vinegar-based dressing rather than mayo-based, medium cut fries and the fish were very good - tender and crisp (the fish lightly battered). Definitely would be a repeat customer if I was a local. Planning to return to Bartow for a scheduled tour of the L.B. Brown House and to explore more of the History Center and it will be hard to decide whether to try a different restaurant or to return here where we really enjoyed the service, the meal and the space.”

“I had dinner with my family here to celebrate a birthday. The food and atmosphere was very good. I had the chicken marsala dish with risotto. My food was flavorful and overall very good. The service was excellent. Our server could not have been nicer. I highly recommend giving Tua Pasta a try!”

“Stopped in after spending the day walking the trails at Paynes Creek Historic Park with the family. This was a great local stop, everyone was super sweet and the food was great! If we're ever back on this side of the state we will certainly stop in again! PS the mac n cheese & coleslaw was bussin!! 😉 Pulled pork, Brisket also great!”

“Walked here over lunchtime for quesadillas and tacos. Small, down-to-earth place, outdoor seating, excellent food. Not a busy place, we knocked on the house door to find her, she was happy to see us and came right out and fixed our lunch for us fresh. The wait for the food was reasonable. Hot sauces were good. “I ordered 4 dishes. The salad was priced reasonable at $8 and looked fantastic but upon tasting, I think it lacked a signature dressing taste. I couldnt finish it because of its lack of appeal. 2.5/5

The wings were cooked well, tasted good and had crunch to the skin, and were plentiful... making this appetizer dish 5/5.

Soup was a bit bland considering it had a noticeable variety if contents... I didn't try and salt it perhaps I could have tried that. It was a small portion but overall wasn't bad it just wasn't great. 4/5

Chips and fish dip. Interesting dip choice. A bit salty for my liking which made it hard to indulge in. As one single eater unlike other dips I've had, I couldnt finish it. This dish would be best for a large group where everyone has a couple of chips each. 3/5

Atmosphere of the place was very good. Lots of natural lighting. Deer off in the distance was a nice touch lol. Overall not a bad place if your here I'm not exactly sure if it's worth driving an hour for but I could be wrong.”
