“You Be Sweet Bakery has been amazing to work with! Megan was the best and was so patient & did exactly what we wanted for our cake with the hidden mickeys. Our guests raved about our wedding cake and how it tasted. We were destination wedding, so we were super worried about not being able to do any taste testings with them, but so glad it didn’t disappoint! They have a ton of flavors & fillings to choose from, too. It was definitely one of my favorite details of our wedding day. 🥰”

The space is beautifully decorated, with plenty of unique seating options that make it easy to relax, read, or chat with friends. Not a busy place, we knocked on the house door to find her, she was happy to see us and came right out and fixed our lunch for us fresh. The wait for the food was reasonable. Hot sauces were good. “Several years ago I was given some cookies ordered from The Cookie Lady as a gift. My husband has not stopped talking about them and I finally ordered some for his birthday! Just as good! “Out-of-towner happy to have landed at Zest for a late, Sunday afternoon lunch on a day trip to tour Bartow's interesting Wonder House, with quick, unplanned visits to the L.B. Brown House Museum and the Bartow History Center. Located on a side street a couple of blocks from the old town square Zest has a quiet, unassuming appearance with off-street parking and an outside, covered dining patio. Inside seating includes booths, tables and the bar in a large, high-ceilinged, sort of dimly lit dining area with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. Our server Regan, (I think was her name) was efficient, and attentive and just right friendly. Our food - we both had fish and chips with cole slaw - was excellent - the slaw was good - chunky cut with vinegar-based dressing rather than mayo-based, medium cut fries and the fish were very good - tender and crisp (the fish lightly battered). Definitely would be a repeat customer if I was a local. Planning to return to Bartow for a scheduled tour of the L.B. Brown House and to explore more of the History Center and it will be hard to decide whether to try a different restaurant or to return here where we really enjoyed the service, the meal and the space.”

“Just had a delicious brunch here! Passed through Bowling Green on the way to Naples and can highly recommend stopping here to eat. Our server was very friendly and helped us (confused Brits!) with the menu.”

“Absolutely delicious. This is our favorite place to stop at when we drive up to Disney from Southwest FL. We almost always stop here every trip! They’re very nice inside, the bbq is next level good and the portions are great! The pulled pork sandwich is enough to feed my husband and I for lunch, it’s giant and so delicious! We also love their ribs and brisket as well. Overall, couldn’t recommend them anymore. I’m so glad we stopped one random day to try them, it’s my favorite thing to look forward too on a drive through Bowling Green 😍”
