This place is such a wonderful mom and pop breakfast and lunch restaurant! Carole served us up some delicious “Stackers” and OJ. Everything was prepared fresh to order and perfectly to our liking. We have had multiple work associates recommend this place and we were definitely not disappointed.

Over priced; I’ve NEVER seen them wear gloves when preparing the food; very snippy whenever I go in there; God for bid they crack a smile & act like they want to be there; they’re the only food spot on that end of the strip so that’s probably the only reason why they’re still in business; I really only go there for the tomato soup lol but after going in there recently, and was not even acknowledged for quite a few minutes, after they popped their head out and clearly saw...read full review

METRO CAFE is an awesome hidden Gem in Fort Myers that has recently new ownership. The owners are friendly and care for customers. They even contacted a customer after a credit card was left behind. The food is great and fantastic food. A beef stew with potatoes rice and black beans is so tender it melts in your mouth. The deli sandwiches are made fresh to order. A Cuban sandwich is full of fresh ingredients and tastes like quality. Coxinhas have an amazing flavor and the service is perfect and great service. A breakfast burrito is a very good size and fried ham and cheese balls taste wonderful. tomato bisqu soup with grilled cheese is very good, and a Cuban with clame chowder is also good. Soups are homemade. The place is clean, quiet, and open until 4. People are super polite and full of joy and love.
