This place is such a wonderful mom and pop breakfast and lunch restaurant! Carole served us up some delicious “Stackers” and OJ. Everything was prepared fresh to order and perfectly to our liking. We have had multiple work associates recommend this place and we were definitely not disappointed.

Over priced; I’ve NEVER seen them wear gloves when preparing the food; very snippy whenever I go in there; God for bid they crack a smile & act like they want to be there; they’re the only food spot on that end of the strip so that’s probably the only reason why they’re still in business; I really only go there for the tomato soup lol but after going in there recently, and was not even acknowledged for quite a few minutes, after they popped their head out and clearly saw...read full review

Metro Cafe is a hidden gem in Fort Myers under new ownership. The owners are really friendly and care for their customers. The service is perfect, and the staff is super polite and full of joy and love. The place is very CLEAN. Great service and fantastic food. Everything is made fresh to order. The best Deli sandwiches and the Cuban sandwich are full of fresh ingredients, tasting like quality. The coxinhas have an amazing flavor. The breakfast burrito is a very good size, and the fried ham and cheese balls are absolutely wonderful tasting. The tomato bisque soup with grilled cheese and the Cuban with clam chowder are very good, with homemade soups. The chicken pot pie is awesome, but make sure they cook it fully. The owners even provide free samples of their appetizers. This is a nice, quiet place open until 4.
