“I have tried many Ft. Myers Pizza Shops and have not found one that makes a pizza close to New York Style Pizza. Today I was in the McGeegor Pizza & Deli area and thought I would try it. Surprisingly the pizza was amazing, the crust was well done, the sauce was tasty and the mozzarella was enough to make the pizza tasty and delicious. Will definitely be back and would recommend this pizza place for sure. Thank you for the unexpected pleasure to a tasty pizza pie. ⭐⭐“

“I can't say enough great things about Mellow Mushroom! This is the best pizza in town! Whenever I go I always start with the pretzel bites! So yummy and addicting. Then depending on what I am in the mood for I get a salad or a pizza. The salads are all delicious but my favorite is the Greek or bacon Blue Wedge. If I do pizza I get either the Buffalo Chicken or Pacific Rim. I love the thick crust and basically all of them. Then if there is room, for dessert, the chocolate brownie or cookie with ice cream! 😋 oh and they have vegan and gluten free items! Can't go wrong here! “I was here visiting family and had never heard of Blaze Pizza. I saw on Google that Blaze has a decent rating and the restaurant was close to where we were hanging out, so I decided to place a pickup order online. I ordered a large pepperoni and sausage, a large pepperoni and double cheese, a small gluten free mushroom, and cheese bread.

The restaurant seemed clean. My order was as ready when it was supposed to be. The staff was welcoming. When I got back to my family all of the food was still hot. The flavors were good (I tried all four items that I bought).

Upon looking at my receipt I noticed that I’d been charge a 15% tip which I didn’t know about and certainly didn’t authorize. I tip very well for good service when I dine in, and I am generous with delivery drivers, but I generally don’t tip if I’m picking up my order. I was shocked that a 15% tip would be added to an online order without the consent of the customer. At no point in the online ordering process was the addition of a tip noted.

I called the store for more than 20 minutes but no one answered. I made a complaint online.

The next day I received both an email and a phone call from a manager. They seemed to sincerely want to know what had gone wrong on their end. They were apologetic and compensated for their mistake.

Blaze Pizza certainly needs to address a couple of issues. First, no more automatically charging online customers a 15% tip that they did not initiate. Second, answer your phone.

BUT, I was impressed with their follow up. They won me back with their customer service. I’ll give them another try.“

“Found this spot randomly while checking google maps for nearby restaurants. It had a high rating so I decided to check it out. I got the smash burger and a side of broccoli with a sweet tea. The young lady who took care of me was pleasant and my food came out quickly. From other reviews, the wings, chicken tenders, and pizza are winners! They have a few tvs for watching games and

The marinara is genuinely Italian, light, slightly sweet tones and not over powered by any sort of "Italian" seasoning. Cheeses are fresh and fantastic. It has that NY pie joint feeling in SWFL. “terrible owner who thinks they can call their customers liars when they get sick off of their food. CROSS CONTAMITION IS HAPPENING! my wife took 1 bite of their pizza and threw up 3x and 2 shits AND her stomach started to hurt within 5 mins! left a review on their Google and the owner wants to call us liars. You don't just get sick like that if there is no cross contaminated food. Gloves are not being changed enough, hands are not being washed enough, utensils are not being cleaned enough or well for that matter and who knows what else. already reported this business for food safety concerns. my wife is a cook, serve safe certified and takes cooking VERY SERIOUS and she instantly knew it was cross contaminated, but again the owner thinks people lie about something like this for no reason. 2+ years of this being a favorite pizza spot to now being the absolute worst we have ever dealt with. also, we have ordered the EXACT SAME PIZZA FOR 2+ YEARS... Cecilian pizza with ONLY BACON & PEPERONI... never once has it ever had CHUNCKY CANNED TOMATOS, CHUCKS OF GARLIC, COOKED SHREDDED LETTUCE HIDDEN UNDER THE CHEESE but owner wants to call us liars about it and says it's always been that way... we know what we eat, clearly this struck a nerve with the owner as it should.... I highly recommend ordering their RB Margarita which is made with top shelf Casamigos Tequila, Pretzel Bites with beer cheese as an appetizer, and the Holy Shiitake Pizza as an entree! The restaurant is very clean and spotless. I highly recommend visiting the location as you will not be disappointed! It is conveniently located between Miromar Outlets/Hertz Arena and Gulf Coast Town Center. Definitely my favorite Mellow location and restaurant in SWFL!🍕“
