4 Best Chicken Restaurants near Fort Walton Beach

“What is there to say about God’s chicken? The breakfast burrito was delicious, even though they forgot to give me salsa, which someone will say at confession was their fault, the chicken nuggets are always delicious and hashbrowns were perfectly fried. I enjoyed everything, plus their service is always great.“

“Edit: 12/12/25 - Once again I am back to another review and this time it just keeps getting worse. I come here quite a bit because I like the food but the Self Service is crazy bad. Always waiting on a drink cup. You have two four people doing the Self Service and all waiting on cups.
Should never happen, workers move around but never look in the direction and if you say something it's like they are being put out or they just ignore you.
Service is down to two stars.

Edit: 10/21/25 - The self service ordering is still janky at best - as you still have to wait for a service person to get you a cup for your meal and if only one person is working the front and has other orders going on, you can stand a wait a bit
Food is still excellent so I do not mind that much

Dropping to 4 stars overall and 3 stars for service. I have been giving this self order a try since they put it in and I am not a fan.
Most the time I am standing there waiting for a drink cup because either they are too busy to give me a cup or no one is up front because of being short staffed.
Still the food is great, just that the service has went down a bit.“

“We love the hot fresh fried chicken tenders! Beats the frozen, heat lamp warmed stuff you get at most places hands down. The fries are done well and seasoned just right. We really like their Cole slaw side as well. The folks at the window are fast but always friendly and we mean that Sincere-ly!😀. A great place for a quick meal, no wonder the drive thru line gets so long!“
