“We are loyal to David's, went tonight and got brisket and sliced pork plates, fried okra, slaw, fries and Mac n cheese. Overall everything was fine, but honestly the quality of the meat is not what it used to be. And the regular BBQ sauce was watery. $50 for 2 plates.“

“I went with my family, and despite how busy it was, the quality of the food stayed consistent. The only downside, was my dad having to send his steak back three separate times because it kept coming out bloodier than he likes. To their credit, the staff stayed patient and kept trying to get it right, but it definitely interrupted the flow of the meal.
As for my plate, I ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and everything was spot‑on. The ribs were fall‑off‑the‑bone tender with that perfect smoky sweetness. The mashed potatoes were creamy and seasoned well, and the broccoli was fresh with a nice bite to it. Even with the crowd, the kitchen clearly didn’t slack on execution.
Overall, it was a good dinner with great food.. I just wish the steak situation had been smoother. I’d still come back for the ribs alone.“
