“Scallion & Thyme is our favorite food truck in Gainesville! We discovered them about five months ago and have eaten there countless times—one week, we went three times. The food is incredible, and we recently had them cater an event for 50 people. Our guests absolutely loved it, with many agreeing it was the best Caribbean food they had ever had. Some of our favorites are the fried chicken, jerk chicken, jerk pork, and cabbage—honestly, we have not tried anything we did not love. Dewarner is an amazing cook and was exceptionally kind and helpful throughout the catering process. During a family tragedy, he made planning the event far less stressful. He was generous, communicative, and made sure everything was ready on time. We highly recommend Scallion & Thyme!“

“This spot is a hidden Jem. Chef JJ knows what he's doing in the kitchen. Everything had all the right flavors from the fries right down to the pork and chicken. Chicken and pork was cooked to perfection with no holding back. Chef was very polite accommodating. Will be returning every time I'm in town.“
