Very nice restaurant. My sister in law gave the recommendation and I’m so glad we came. The food was amazing and the portions are large! It was definitely worth the drive from Ocala. Great service!
Is Choptix under new management?! Had an AWFUL experience today.
We were served raw fish that looked fake and tasted so off my friend spit it out. We addressed these concerns with our waiter who then brought a box and told us to take it to someone who would eat it but we would have to pay. After being ignored and not getting any service the remainder of our meal we told the man taking payment we were not paying for the bad food that couldn’t be eaten. If I could leave this restaurant zero stars I would. This is the worse dining experience I have ever had in Gainesville. I ordered two sushi rolls and when they came to the table, something seemed odd about them. The salmon on top of one of the rolls looked like fake fish. The ingredients did not look or taste fresh.
