Good walk-in lunch specials! Fast and friendly service. Lots of regulars and the staff remember them and what they order. Good sign.
First time in, so I ordered what they did. Lol. Spicy pork and broccoli was my favorite. Would recommend.
However, they do need to update their website from 7.75 for lunch to the updated price of 8.75. Still a great deal!
Your average chinese food experience. Dont expect to be amazed, because you won't be. Still better than some of the other places in town, but considering gainesville is very limited on good food, this one is above average.
EDIT: I decided to give china star a second chance today, and a different person cooked my food and took my order (maybe the owner?); everything came out tasting good, and overall a better experience. My only two things is I still would have liked to...read full review
Gotta decent meal with drink under $10. The veggies were a tad over salted. Other than that it was pretty good.
