This is a classic in Midtown, but after a couple trips, I can see why I was warned to not go. Fats has a history of dangerous occurrences, including many incidents of drinks getting spiked and sending students to the hospital. The bar is 21+ with a $10 cover, but anyone underage who pays the bouncer $20 can get in. Once you are in, there is no shoulder room since they pack it to the brim. I've been coming here for 11 years now, back when i graduated in 2012 this place had just opened and I have loved it since then.
