My first time trying Venezuelan cuisine! Wow! I want more! I had a chicken empanada and fried plantains. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the sauce! OMG! and the plantains were out of this world! If you're in Gainesville, I highly recommend giving this a try! You won't be disappointed!
Can not tell you what amazing things my taste buds experienced with my first Shredded Pork Patacones. I had already ordered my standard empanadas, but I wanted to try something outside of my comfort zone. They suggested a Patacones with my favorite meat. I got it with the plantain grilled. Even my hubby who is half latin and doesn't like plantains (I had to force him to try a bite) raved about this sandwich and stole my leftovers!! We will be back ASAP!
I’m new to the area and have been 2x. The empanadas are so delicious along with the garlic sauce it comes with, but even better is the staff. I’ve talked with Eros both times and he’s so sweet, attentive & courteous. I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu!!
