“This was our 3rd visit to Tapper Pub since the reopening. Never was a patron because of the smoking inside. No more though! We have enjoyed the visits and the food has been excellent! Pastrami, corned beef sandwiches have been excellent!! They have enough outdoor tables that even if you come upon a smoking customer, there are enough tables to separate from that! Bring your pup for Outdoor only though! Tabitha( day time bartender) hope I got that correct, is super nice and they have cold beer/wine but today are beginning to get the draft beer installed!! Give them a try in the Britton Plaza shopping area next to Publix!“

“Bad Monkey Bar in Ybor City is a hidden gem that offers a fantastic blend of being in the heart of the action while still providing a cozy and intimate atmosphere. The food was delicious, cheese sticks were the best I've had in a long time and the service was top-notch. Cook got the wrap wrong but no biggie since I was honestly trying to decide between the Buffalo chicken wrap or the chopped beef wrap. Ordered the chicken with ranch but was actually the chopped beef. No complaints that the cook decided for me lol. Also while eating, I loved the feeling of being on the strip yet feeling like I had found a secret spot to enjoy. Can't wait to go back and soak in the unique ambiance all over again!“

“Perhaps its in my old age that I really love good old fashioned comfort foods. Mashed potatoes, ground meat, veggies, all lovingly layered and topped off with cheese. What more could a girl want? I thought St. Patrick's Day weekend was the PERFECT time to enjoy the classic Shepard's Pie dish, a staple that seems to be getting harder for me to find somehow... So what better place to enjoy this than Irish 31? I was in area anyway with Muffin, so we swung by. It was pretty packed due to the holiday and the time, nevertheless, it didn't take long for a friendly server to acknowledge me and usher me inside to sit anywhere I wish. Again, I had Muffin (my shih tzu) so I had to sit outside. I managed to snag a spot outside, and a few beats later, my server brought me out my menu. I've been here before, and I remember loving the Shepard's Pie here, so it was the obvious choice for me to get. I didn't take long at all for the food to arrive. I love this classic dish. Hearty ground beef with peas and carrots (so it can somewhat resemble healthy food and add a pop of color, of course) savory gravy, and creamy mashed potatoes, all baked and topped with a generous helping of cheese. Everything was perfectly layered and portioned so that I got the perfect balance of all the textures from the meat, veggies, and potato with cheese in one bite. It was VERY filling for me, so that was all I got and I left more than satisfied. I love how despite they were busy, service was friendly and quick, bringing the right vibe and energy to the holiday weekend.“

“Everything about this place was wonderful except for the steak garlic melt.The steak garlic melt was okay at best and the steak looked like cat food and I have had immense diarrhea and stomach problems since I’ve had this. I know for a fact that it wasn’t anything else I’ve eaten because the problems started as I was leaving. But I highly recommend eating here because the service is wonderful and every server is a joy to be around but do not get the steak garlic melt.“

“First of all, we went at lunchtime time. Service was a little slow, only 2 servers. My husband had a hamburger that had very little barbecue sauce on it. When he asked for more, he was told it would be $1. Plus, the burger had cheese on it, and it was a very little piece, but he didn't say anything about that. “Cute little bar right on the main drag of Brandon.Venue is very authentic. Feels like a pub on the east end.There is about 30 or so beers on tap so cudoes there. And theyre cheap. Happy hour had beers for 2.50$.The bad, the bar stools do not have back and the L-shaped bar is not my favorite design. So no points there.They have real dart boards, not the "Re-Darts" suitable for redarted people who should be allowed to handle sharp objects.Food is well priced as well, think frier and grill stuff. In other words typical bar food, but a fish sandwich was 10 bucks. Good price.Access is kind of a PITA as well. It's on Hwy 60 and really only accessible Eastbound, and it's sort of easy to miss, if you drive past it 50 feet, your done, 5min to circle back.Nice little out side patio area as well, although the view is only Hwy 60 and counting cars.Regulars seem friendly and happy to chat.“

If that actually happened (not saying it didnt) then the employee must have started it or deserved it. The owner and management here have been nothing short of impeccable (the bartenders and servers are great too. Stop in and see Emily, she's awesome).
