“I ordered a to-go entree around 430p and was told it would be ready in 20, and that the system would message me. 40 minutes later I entered the establishment and was told my food was ready. It came without plastic ware or napkins, nor the drink I ordered (water). The restaurant was pretty empty so this oversight wasn’t due to volume of customers. The food was good and still warm. Tiami was nice and understanding and professional, kudos to her.“

“Food is horrible. I ordered the Bayou pasta. It was dry and it had no seasoning. All I tasted was noodles on the first bite. O, they charge 4 dollars for extra sauce for the pasta. Like really! If you ever had food in New Orleans, you will know this ain't it. I don't know what others see in the food. Maybe each location is different. I went to the one in Rockledge/Cocoa Beach, Fl area. All I know is that next time I am "Walking On" right passed this restaurant to another one that's better.... hopefully.“

“A wonderful experience enhanced by Zoey who was an outstanding frontline ambassador for expected service and care. I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “We went to the location on Gandy Boulevard today. We were just passing by and saw it so looked up the menu online. At this particular location there was a kiosk to order and no indoor seating. There was a taphouse next-door that had outdoor seating so we grabbed a drink and ate our food there. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious! I was delighted to find vegan options. Everything was well seasoned and very flavorful! We would definitely come back again!“

The menu is full of outstanding dishes for every appetite and combined with a full bar it makes for an outstanding visit. The staff are all superb, professional and friendly, to include Daniela P. who served us recently. Daniela's menu recommendations were perfect and on-point to say the least! We cannot wait to visit again and highly recommend this location to everyone!“

Door Dash picked up the wrong order, so I called and Mike (the owner) was able to get them to come back and deliver the correct one. “So glad that we discovered Willa this evening. Can't believe that we hadn't found it previously. But discovering it on a Sunday night turned out to be quite a treat. That is their half price wine bottle night as well as the buy one get one chicken schnitzel night. The schnitzel along with it s. Lemon/ dill potato salad were delicious but the focaccia bread starter may have been the star of the show. By the time I got there it was pouring and I parked by the curb and the nicest young lady brought me my perfectly packaged and bagged meal. “The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“

“The ambiance of the historic building was exceptional, I just would love to see more accents celebrating the history in the dining room. The wait staff were fantastic and attentive and the kitchen manager visited the table to explain substitutions, very appreciative of that. The food was where we just didn't meet expectations. We had numerous small plates and salad, granted we dined on a holiday so could've been an off night. The pork belly was very over cooked, nearly jerky, and the salad and mango shrimp just didn't do anything special. I heard they are modifying the menu which may be good, but the menu looked great, quality control before sending would make all the difference here. I'm hoping it was an off night and I'll try again at some point.“

I arrived early to meet friends and was invited to sit at the bar—something I usually dread since I don’t drink. The bartender approached, and I asked for something non-alcoholic. He suggested a non-alcoholic beer (not my thing), and then I mentioned ginger beer. His eyes lit up—he had one he hadn’t tried before: Bundaberg. What could’ve been an awkward wait turned into this fun, unexpected exchange as we both discovered the drink together. It came in a vintage-style bottle, and he treated it like it was the most interesting cocktail he’d ever poured. That kind of thoughtful hospitality changes everything. When my group arrived, the meal was incredible—rich flavors, creative pairings, and descriptions that made every dish sound like art. The food was phenomenal, but the way the evening felt was even better. As I left, the bartender smiled and said, “I found a case of that Bundaberg in the back—it’ll be here when you come back.” That moment captured the heart of Mise En Place: attention to detail, genuine connection, and simple moments turned extraordinary.“

“I’ve been here both times I was in town and will likely make this a tradition! The food here is so freaking fresh and delicious! There is no concern with being hungry after your meal, I’ve left here feeling stuffed! They will accommodate your food additions or deletions with no issues too. The mocktail menu is diverse too. I loved my bowl! It had the perfect amount of spice and flavor! The addition of the charred cauliflower was a recommendation from my server and boy, was she right on the money! “Interesting walls adorn this fun and friendly restaurant. They offered a nice lunch special with a delicious cuban sandwich and homemade sausage and bean soup and their local beer to go with it. The International Shrine convention and parade was going on so there was a steady crowd. Our bartender Siobhan was efficient and friendly and tvs had the soccer game on. It was one of the best restaurants we tried in Ybor city.“

We enjoyed good service. Food was pretty good. Salsa with chips is good but it was not mentioned that salsa is spicy. Spinach with queso is mostly queso and little spinach more like a soup. Low lighting.
Accessible entry with heavy door. Accessible mobility thru restaurant. Some areas of restaurant require 2-3 steps to enter but most tables and booths are accessible. Heavy door on accessible restroom“

“I recently dined at Watervue and had their seafood pasta dish, and it was absolutely divine! The combination of fresh seafood and perfectly cooked pasta was a true delight for my taste buds. The flavors were balanced beautifully, and the portion size was generous. The ambiance of the restaurant was also very cozy and inviting, adding to the overall wonderful experience. “If you’re looking for a rooftop lounge with an amazing atmosphere, incredible food, and a fun crowd, this is definitely a spot to visit.

The location is perfect for a night out, especially if you’re visiting Tampa. I was in town for the Kanye West concert, and this ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. The crowd was diverse, trendy, energetic, and just an overall vibe. There were plenty of servers throughout the lounge, so the service was attentive and the atmosphere made it easy to relax, enjoy the music, and soak in the city views.

Now let’s talk about the food… absolutely phenomenal! The Artichoke & Crab Dip is hands down the best I’ve ever had. It was rich, creamy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the toasted bread.

The Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls were equally impressive. They came with a coconut dipping sauce that honestly looked like applesauce at first, but don’t let that fool you. The sauce had the perfect touch of sweetness that balanced the bold jerk seasoning beautifully. The sweet and savory combination was incredibly well executed, making every bite absolutely delicious.

The cocktails were refreshing, beautifully presented, and fit the upscale rooftop vibe perfectly.

The only hiccup of the evening was that three different servers told us the kitchen had stopped serving food at 9 p.m. We later noticed other guests continuing to receive food, so we spoke with the manager. He immediately apologized for the misunderstanding, handled the situation professionally, and graciously comped our drinks. I really appreciated how quickly management made things right, and it didn’t take away from what was otherwise an outstanding experience.

Overall, this lounge delivered on every level…great food, great drinks, a beautiful rooftop atmosphere, and excellent customer service. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Tampa. Highly recommend!“

“The room I am in does have a good hot shower, decent bed, Comedy Central works on the TV. It is busy here and do recommend getting here before night fall being parking is tight.“
