“All these years I never cared to go to this restaurant thinking it’s just another over priced franchise. We ended up here on one of the days US was playing World Cup soccer. Went sat at the bar. They have a few TV’s there. And luckily for us it was happy hour. Reasonably priced. Great flatbread. Very thin & flavorful. Cocktails were done very well as well! Definitely will be back for that happy hour!!“

“We went to the location on Gandy Boulevard today. We were just passing by and saw it so looked up the menu online. At this particular location there was a kiosk to order and no indoor seating. There was a taphouse next-door that had outdoor seating so we grabbed a drink and ate our food there. The portions were large and everything was absolutely delicious! I was delighted to find vegan options. Everything was well seasoned and very flavorful! We would definitely come back again!“

“A wonderful experience enhanced by Zoey who was an outstanding frontline ambassador for expected service and care. I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “District South is the perfect place in a convenient South Tampa location for brunch, lunch and dinner. The menu is full of outstanding dishes for every appetite and combined with a full bar it makes for an outstanding visit. The staff are all superb, professional and friendly, to include Daniela P. who served us recently. Daniela's menu recommendations were perfect and on-point to say the least! We cannot wait to visit again and highly recommend this location to everyone!“

“Went for Fathers Day dinner and wanted to try a new place. I have to say Yard House is a great place, the atmosphere is great, our waitress, Adrienne was great. Very friendly and attentive. She gave us a few suggestions to eat since it was out first time there. I ordered a ribeye, med-well, wifey ordered the salmon, and kiddo got chicken alfredo. Everything looked great coming oit, smelled amazing. But when I cut into the steak, it was well done! Thats why not 5 stars. Im glad it wasnt tough and chewy. Still tasted good, just a bit disappointed. Made the best and finished dinner. We will be back again!“

“Food is horrible. I ordered the Bayou pasta. It was dry and it had no seasoning. All I tasted was noodles on the first bite. O, they charge 4 dollars for extra sauce for the pasta. Like really! If you ever had food in New Orleans, you will know this ain't it. I don't know what others see in the food. Maybe each location is different. I went to the one in Rockledge/Cocoa Beach, Fl area. All I know is that next time I am "Walking On" right passed this restaurant to another one that's better.... hopefully.“

“I had an excellent customer service experience today with the Tampa location. Door Dash picked up the wrong order, so I called and Mike (the owner) was able to get them to come back and deliver the correct one. Personally called me and also gave me loyalty credits to make up for the wait. I order from this location all the time, because my office is close by. Highly recommended and really appreciated that Mike went above and beyond expectation!“

“Party of 6. Very well take care of. The wings were by far the biggest in town, we got them plain and with buffalo, both were delicious. The pretzel was good, Caesar salad is HUGE with crostini that were also delicious. French dip and Mac and cheese both good, the smash burger and chicken with waffles equally delicious. “So glad that we discovered Willa this evening. Can't believe that we hadn't found it previously. But discovering it on a Sunday night turned out to be quite a treat. That is their half price wine bottle night as well as the buy one get one chicken schnitzel night. The schnitzel along with it s. Lemon/ dill potato salad were delicious but the focaccia bread starter may have been the star of the show. And then we followed up with some of their homemade, soft serve and absolutely incredible warm, delicious chocolate chip cookie. Our server, Duncan, was terrific. We will be back!!! “The Shrimp & Company is a quaint seafood restaurant on the corner of 7th Ave and 22nd St in Ybor City. If you have walked past it headed for the restaurant across the street then you have missed the best seafood you could eat in Tampa. You have to try their Florida or Louisiana Steam Pot, any of the seafood baskets and their shrimp stuffed mondongo. The food and terrific service is worth another trip to the small family owned restaurant. Don’t miss it!“

He suggested a non-alcoholic beer (not my thing), and then I mentioned ginger beer. His eyes lit up—he had one he hadn’t tried before: Bundaberg. What could’ve been an awkward wait turned into this fun, unexpected exchange as we both discovered the drink together. It came in a vintage-style bottle, and he treated it like it was the most interesting cocktail he’d ever poured. That kind of thoughtful hospitality changes everything. When my group arrived, the meal was incredible—rich flavors, creative pairings, and descriptions that made every dish sound like art. The food was phenomenal, but the way the evening felt was even better. As I left, the bartender smiled and said, “I found a case of that Bundaberg in the back—it’ll be here when you come back.” That moment captured the heart of Mise En Place: attention to detail, genuine connection, and simple moments turned extraordinary.“

If you had any questions or needed anything they were always ready to help, or spend as much time as needed to go over and explain everything. There is no concern with being hungry after your meal, I’ve left here feeling stuffed! They will accommodate your food additions or deletions with no issues too. The mocktail menu is diverse too. We tried the avocado toast with poached eggs and the brioche French toast, and the presentation was literal perfection. Everything tasted so fresh, light, and beautifully seasoned. There are also some premade foods which looked pretty good. The food is real “homemade”. It appears to be geared toward working folk (me) and I loved it.“
