“Congenial atmosphere and staff“

“A bus of us went to Gulfport to support the community after the devastation that occurred after 2 hurricanes.
7 of us descended on O'Maddy's for lunch. I was having a hard time deciding and asked our server for a recommendation. She said that Big John was a customer favorite. 4 of us ordered it. My sister opted for no bun, I switched from a pretzel bun to a brioche bun. All I can say is WOW! We all thought it was absolutely delicious. The thinly sliced roast beef was rare as promised and plenty of it. The beer cheese sauce, cole slaw, and potato chips on the sandwich completed this culinary delight. The french fries arrived hot and were delicious. We also asked for horseradish on the side to add to the deliciousness. None of the 4 of us could finish and got boxes to take the rest home. One in our party opted for the fish and chips, and he said it was delicious as well. Another ordered the salad with salmon and said that his was excellent.
We were seated pretty quickly and had excellent service. We will definitely be back!“

“The apps and entrees were really good. Dessert was not our favorite. Oil and olives in ice cream and cookies? Strawberry pepper ice cream? Not again for us. Menu changes about quarterly. Service was good.“

Andrew was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and absolutely on point throughout the entire evening. And the food? Out. Standing. Do yourself a favor and order the focaccia, the chopped salad, the lamb, and the vodka pasta. Every single dish was a knockout. The lamb especially—holy moly!

“First time at coco wood and Ronda was our server. She gave us recommendations and let me say she hit the nail right on the head. Everything was so tasty and the quality was so fresh. Best I have had on these beaches in a long time. This will be our new spot to go to enjoy unique food and not just the same old stuff you can get anywhere.“

“Loving our stay here in a spacious suite. I have slept better here than I have in years! We had dinner out in the courtyard. The redfish was locally sourced and delicious. The soft shell crab was very good according to my friend. It’s a quirky place to stay, but very well run. Love the breakfast delivered in the morning.“

Also, it’s nice to have a rotating menus of beverages to choose from. Always love trying something new. “Stayed here on an overnight, hadn't been in 10 years, and I had forgotten the quaint atmosphere of this place. Combined with good food and great friendly service, it's a great stop in St Petersburg whether you stay at the hotel or not. Some good daily specials, for both food and drink. Again came face to face with NAM (which stands for Not A Moose, from what I overheard! He's a caribou!) who overlooks the bar. This place is worth a visit if you've never been here!“

“My son, mom and I stopped in for an early dinner after my son's basketball game. This was our 1st time here and we absolutely loved the food. I highly recommend the "Cool ranch rider" has a nice kick to it the only thing I did differently was ranch instead of mayo and banana peppers instead of hot peppers. My son had the "Turkey bacon" minus onion and tomato as well as sub the mayo for ranch he absolutely loved it!! My mom got the "Roast Beast" loved hers as well!! We decided to try the Lemon Blueberry cheesecake, it too was delicious!! We will definitely be back!! The ladies that helped us with our order were super sweet and made us feel very welcomed!! Loved the vibe. Reggae music playing as well, just overall a great place!! We were at the 3rd Avenue location for reference!!“

“I’ve been coming to The Craftsman House for years, and their food and service has been unfailingly great. I love looking at their beautiful and unusual art pieces and have been to and enjoyed a few concerts there. It’s such a cozy and intimate and fun place. I’ve found the people who work there to be friendly and professional. The owner is a really smart and personable guy who has been in St. Petersburg for a long time. “First time here from out of town. Our waiter was Blake and he’s a peach! Real helpful with what’s good here, the portion sizes and chill vibe. The food sizes are amazing and the Lobster Fries are 10/10!!! Blake steered me to the Mac and cheese for a side and it was bomb!!! My daughter tried something new, which is amazing and crazy, and sadly didn’t like it. Blake allowed us to trade it out for another meal we knew she’d like.

“Our experience was amazing at the Postcard Inn! I had 10 girl friends come into town for my Bachelorette Party and this stay was perfect for our group! The rooms were comfortable and the hotel amenities made the trip a breeze! With a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on site we didn’t have to go far to have a great time! The pool and cabana experience was just what we wanted!“

“No one came to seat us. I had to go the bar and ask if I could seat myself. The hotel bar and restaurant are connected to the pool area which wasn’t ideal for an expensive dinner date in our hotel. The snapper was cooked well but the sauce was more of an Alfredo and really thick. I also had the broccolini and asparagus,I could have had a whole plate of these. The New York strip wasn’t a good cut but had good flavor. The beers were served in an ice cold mug which was really nice. Our waitress was great and saved this review rating.

“My friends and I are in town for the week and asked a local for a good place to get a burger. He recommended Daiquiri Shak. We walked into a warm welcome by a server who was leaving for the day, but she took the time to greet us and seat us. Then our very friendly server arrived at our table and welcomed us again and told us the specials. We ordered the shrimp and crab dip-omg-it was so delicious! Then we all ordered burgers. First bite into the burger we knew we hit the jackpot for a delicious, flavorful burger! It was beyond our expectations! Our server was the lovely Kelsey, and she was exceptional! Very attentive and so friendly! We are going back again while we are in town! Way to go Daiquiri Shak for great service and food! And a huge thank you to Kelsey for making us feel welcome!“

“Was a 5 star now a 3. I've been coming here every Tuesday for 2 years and it's been an excellent experience. Since the change in servers/ personnel ,the service and experience has declined greatly. Our table waited 15 minutes for a server at 3:00. Katie (bartender) and Avery (server) are excellent and should work the bar area.“
