“My best friend & I went here for lunch today. Jorge , the GM, stopped at our table to make sure all was ok. It was great so far. Then we got an awesome waitress, Kristina. She could not have been any better. Had everything we needed and the food was outstanding. I called and spoke to Jorge and told him how pleased we were. People are so quick to complain so Kim & I decided to tell them how happy we were with start to finish. Gators Dockside has always been my favorite restaurant, and it’s still my favorite restaurant. “As a 45 year old foodie who’s been to many Michelin starred restaurants, Nouvelle Cuisine is hands down our favorite restaurant in Hernando County! The atmosphere is relaxed, the food is always consistent and impeccably executed.. We generally get the rack of lamb, filet, or specialty selections like elk or veal. Chef Kinds, Isabelle, and staff always make sure our experience is nothing short of amazing!! The escargot and European cheese board are always a must. The wine selection is spectacular and Isabelle’s wine knowledge is always spot on. The desserts are truly chefs kiss. The white chocolate marscapone cheesecake with raspberry coulis is our absolute favorite!❤️ I promise, you’ll not be disappointed..“

“One word. WOW! We visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday, and we’ll definitely be back. Our family can be pretty tough to please, and I have gluten and dairy allergies on top of that, but everything about this experience was incredible.

When I called ahead, I was greeted by the sweetest voice (who turned out to be the owner, Yuki). She assured me they had plenty of gluten-free options, and when we arrived, our wonderful server went above and beyond to confirm what I could and couldn’t eat (sadly, no ginger dressing for me this time; next visit, I’ll bring my own).

We started with edamame, perfectly cooked, followed by miso soup and salad, both delicious. For my entrée, I had chicken and filet hibachi with double vegetables (no rice for me), and everything was outstanding. The steak melted in my mouth, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the veggies were cooked to perfection.

My kids shared ramen (because that’s what the demon hunters eat, IYKYK), my husband had his own bowl along with hot sake and a beer, and the table was full of happy sounds, “mmm,” “try this,” “this is so good,” and “we HAVE to come back!”

To top it off, we treated the kids to tempura ice cream since they ate really well, and my 8-year-old kept going back to his ramen until it was gone. Yuki came by at the end with keychains and candy for the kids, which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch.

We left smiling from ear to ear, and my family has already asked to go back, and it hasn’t even been 24 hours!“

“Love this little bagel place. It's right around my neighborhood and I've only had their breakfast bagels but they have always been really good. The wait is never long. And everyone who works there is always really sweet. It's affordable as well. Their hashbrown is good too. If you haven't tried there yet, you definitely should.“

“I love skinnys wings...but today was a failure. I ordered a 10 piece of breaded garlic parm wings (my fav). When they came out fresh and hot, I ate one and I could taste a fishyness to them. I had my buddy try one and she said the same thing. The waitress (who was great) took them back to get me new ones. Here's the kicker! I know they werent new wings. I know they were sat under a heat lamp for a bit and just left for re-serving. Not cool!! How do I know this. I left one piece of celery in the basket. when it came back out the same one piece of celery was in the same place. But thats not even it. When the wings were dumped into the basket the first time, they were dumped over the little container of ranch, and it left a perfect ring of nothingness under it..just the basked liner clean as a whistle. When the supposed new wings came out... the ring was still there, still void of any seasoning remnants. same wings... same fishy flavor. sorry but that was horribly disappointing! I still tipped the waitress a 10 spot on a 24 dollar bill! Not her fault. I still will recommend Skinny's and thier wings... just not today! I took 8 of the wings home... had my roomie try one and she said the very same thing.... Fishy. tossed them in the trash!“

“My husband and I attempted to watch the sunset at Pine Island, apparently half of Spring Hill had the same idea...we missed it and decided to have dinner at Bayport Inn. Even though we were there 15min before closing, the hostess said we could still order and let us pick out a table. Our waitress, Nicole, was amazing! She went above and beyond, even though it was closing time. The food was wonderful and the price was great for the amount of food we received. We highly recommend having dinner here. They also have gift shops in the back. When it gets cooler we will be back to sit on the patio and enjoy some live music. This may be our new favorite place to go. Thank you to Nicole for making our evening memorable, even though we missed the sunset.“

“We went to Sam’s Beach Bar today and I got the Grouper Fingers basket. It was excellent! 5 large fingers with very crispy breading. It was so good my husband decided to order the same thing to go for his dinner. I opened up his container and was shocked. 2 small fingers with mushy white meat and instead of a crispy breading it looked like it was battered. Neither the breading nor the meat tasted the same. Very disappointed. I love Sam’s Beach bar but I will have a hard time getting my husband to go back.“

Now that Covid is over, their hours are still very limited. They close at 2. We, seniors, like to go out for dinner, in the evening. That's when we went. “As close as you can get to NY style Chinese takeout. No complaints so far, they're my go-to takeout place in the 6yrs I've been living here. Love their Sesame Chicken, Lo Mein, General Tso, Crab Rangoon, the list goes on. Owner and his staff are very courteous and friendly, the inside of the restaurant is clean too. When you pick up your order you help yourself to the condiments and utensils. You can use an app called Beyond menu if you want to place an order online.“
