“Thirsty’s Pub is hands down one of the best neighborhood spots to relax, have a great drink, and enjoy fantastic company. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The cozy, inviting décor combined with upbeat music creates the perfect vibe for a casual night out.
The drink menu is impressive, offering a wide variety of craft beers, well-made cocktails, and local favorites. I tried their signature margarita, and it was perfectly balanced — refreshing and flavorful without being too sweet. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend a new favorite or whip up a classic.
Food-wise, Thirsty’s offers a solid menu of pub favorites. I had the loaded fries and the buffalo wings, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. Everything tasted fresh, and the flavors were spot on.

“We visited the Romana Restaurant on a Sunday evening and were seated outside, but not on the street. (The restaurant has indoor seating, seating immediately outside the entry, and seating adjacent to the street.) The ambiance was relatively quiet where we were seated and more lively closer to the street.\n\nI chose the restaurant because I wanted to sample Romanian food. I ordered the Romanian goulash soup. My spouse ordered the spaghetti Bolognese. I found the goulash soup to be more of a stew. Quite good, but not as spicy or soupy as I recall the Hungarian variety to be. My wife thought the spaghetti Bolognese to be very good.\n\nThe Russian waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service.\n\nWe may visit the Romana again when passing through Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood.“

“Cloud 9 is my go-to every single Friday, and that is 100% because of GiGi. They provide the best service in Fort Lauderdale, hands down. If you want a bartender who actually takes care of you and makes a killer drink, look for them. 5 stars!“

“Fabulous long weekend staying at The Diplomat Beach Resort. Our King Corner Oceanfront Suite was spacious with a beautiful oceanfront view. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating to all requests as well as our early arrival. The Hotel Bar was a lovely place to grab late night drinks after dinner, both Eddie & Michael made fantastic cocktails and provided perfect service- give those gentleman a raise!! Gotta love bartenders that feel like friends by the end of the night. Definitely reserve a beach cabana for the day it is well worth the money and Andrew was incredibly attentive checking on us throughout the entire time. It puts you right up front with another ocean view, a super comfy daybed with sun protection, umbrella, table and 2 lounge chairs. The beach servers were also fantastic & quick to bring anything we ordered. The watermelon margarita is delish as well as the ceviche. This is definitely now our go to place when we travel to Ft. Lauderdale area!“

“This spot is great for late night events . It’s literally open until 7am on weekends. I wish they had better food options though I never got to experience the inside food yet so I’ll probably change that . The drinks are $15 and the bartender made it worth it.“

“It looked nothing special from outside, but the food was great. Fresh, healthy, nice portions with very reasonable price for weekday lunch time. I also love the dip that came with the bread, not just olive oil but with a unique herb mixture.
This neighborhood should be greatful for having a restaurant like this.“

“Traffic is frustrating and roads are confusing in this area so when I saw this place while unable to find our actual destination, I called an audible and we went here.
Easy paid lot next door and larger paid garage across the street. Basic beach adjacent bar. It isn't actually on the beach. But most of the tables are on sand. The actual bar is on the inland river and there isn't a great sunset view.
But it was convenient. The food was good. The fish and chips fish was massive. The coleslaw was well made and fresh. The mahi sandwich was good. The coconut shrimp was good but not great. Prices were reasonable for a waterfront bar. Staff were awesome. Rosa was great. The gentleman who brought our food was great.
I definitely recommend this even though it wasn't our initial plan.“

“Located at the bus intersection of 441 and Hollywood Boulevard, Con Hambre has a wide-ranging menu of seafood, chicken, and pork dishes, plus a selection of pastas.
There’s plenty of TVs, and a music playing at a reasonable volume. The wait staff is personable… not overly friendly, but not rude.
I wasn’t super hungry during my visit, so I kept it light with a small salad and passion fruit lemonade, which was recommended by the employee who took my order. The juice was good and the salad was a decent size for $6. It didn’t come with dressing, but the employee brought me a small container of condiments that sit on the larger tables.
When it was time to pay I noticed the automatic 15% gratuity added to the check.
While the atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice, I’d be remiss to not point out that there’s a car detailing business that consumes most of the parking lot in front of the restaurant.“

“Llevo varios meses almorzado o cenado en este lugar. Siempre había tenido una buena experiencia. Hasta el día de hoy . Se que los errores pueden ocurrir. Pero lo que ocurrió hoy es falta de profesionalismo y ethica de la manager. Siempre pido lo mismo , dos churrascos asados , uno para mi y otro para un joven autista al cual le provee servicios terapéuticos. Siempre pido el mismo termino para la carne, bn asada pero no quemada . Sin embargo hoy una de las carnes estaba quedada por encima. Y le pedí q si la podían cambiar. La manager dijo q si , pues me ha visto varias veces comer en tardes caleñas y nunca había reclamado algo. La mesera me confirma q ya me están poniendo otra hacer. Cuando mesera traen el plato veo q la carne es exactamente el mismo tamaño q la anterior pero un poco más jugosa . Al probar la carne me doy cuenta es la misma carne , lo único q le hicieron fue rasparla y écharle agua , mantequilla y un poco más de sazón en polvo . Para este punto el joven autista ya había terminó de comer y a mí no me quedaba mucho tiempo para almorzar . Me comí la carne porque tenía mucha hambre. Le digo a la mesera que me llame la manager y le digo lo siguiente estoy casi seguro q la carne q me trajeron fue la misma , le echaron agua y mantequilla y pensaron ese no se da cuenta . Me la comí porque tenía mucha hambre pero que uds hicieron no es correcto. La manager me confirmó “claro fue la misma carne , la limpiamos y le echamos aceite . Antes de hablar con la manager pagué por las dos carnes como si nada hubiera pasado . Luego le pregunté a la manager te gustaría q tu salgas a almorzar y te pase esto . Se quedó callada y me dijo si quieres te puedo hacer otra. Mi respuesta : eso era lo que estabas supuesta hacer desde el principio, ya no tengo tiempo para esperar más . La manejar me dice , no la tiene que pagar . Mi respuesta : ya la pagué , eso es lo correcto. Ella no supo que decir. Yo le sugerí que me diera un crédito para regresar a comer después y así fue . Este post lo publiqué en si recomiendo porque mi intención es no crear una mala reputación si no , una mejor conciencia para la manager de este lugar. Lo que hizo es inaceptable. Hay muchos cursos q se pueden tomar para mejor las abilidad de servicio al cliente y como maneger debes incrementar tu conocimiento en esta área. Una vez más , se que lo errores ocurren pero hay errores que pasen por que si y otros siendo conociste de ellos y a cada quien aprende de sus errores. Llevo varios meses viviendo a este lugar y la comida si es muy rica. Espero poder volver a este lugar y disfrutar de sus bueno platos.“
