“I had a health concern happen while I was entertaining myself and the locals with some guitar music, good conversation and lots of pool games. I got dehydrated and the paranoia set in hard. Luckily these folks are good people and all my belongings were kept, safely. When I got well and was able to retrieve them. I was well cared for and never made to feel unwelcome though I’m afraid I might have made a fool of myself. Maybe again some day without the dehydration? I hope so!“

The whole setup is really cool, and pulling up around sunset made the vibe even better. Such a fun concept and atmosphere. Service was exceptional too—friendly, quick, and welcoming. Definitely a great spot!“

I had their croissant with egg cheese and sausage which was delicious with a side of hot sauce. Their donuts are delicious per usual, and I also had a small coffee which balanced everything out.“

They obviously start eary in the a.m. and many donut options to choose from. These are full sized donuts and not like the smaller ones that the donut chains ( dd ) serve. “We really enjoyed our visits to North Shore Café during our trip. The latte was excellent—the caramel flavor tasted fresh and high quality (not sure if it’s made in-house, but it definitely stood out). The avocado toast on sourdough with lime and red chili flakes was so good—I ended up getting it twice during our week-long vacation. It was fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Just be prepared—it’s very busy. There’s no option to order ahead for pickup, and on both a Tuesday and Friday morning, it took at least 30 minutes just to place an order. On a whim, I also tried the strawberry cookies, but unfortunately they were pretty bland and not very flavorful—I only took a bite before tossing them. Overall, just a small disappointment compared to how great everything else was. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!“

This morning I went through the drive thru before a trip to St. Pete- it wasn’t until I was halfway to St Pete that I realized my y’all, hot Peppermint Mocha was only half full and NOT a peppermint mocha. Of course, I was disappointed as I got my drink when I did for a reason, but the drink was disgusting. However, I went back to the location since I pass it anyway and they were GREAT about making my drink I was supposed to get again, and were just as confused about how I only got half a tall cup filled in the first place.
