New American Restaurants near Holmes Beach, FL

“Oh where to start!
We were vacationing in Anna Maria for our 10th year and Beach Bistro was recommended for my birthday outing.
We called ahead and found that you have 2 choices here- the 4 course Dinner in main dining room- or- a la carte from bar area.
We chose the latter.
It was beautiful in looks right off. Old wood, low ceilings etc. Very warm and inviting!

Greeted by our bartender who was so gracious and kind.
Led us through anything we asked and made a fabulous drink !
We enjoyed those 2 hours more than we could say.
The food was one good bite after another !
We started with a fresh salad, then an appetizer of shrimp & crab which were perfect.
Entree was Lobster tail and Grouper. All fantastic!
The dessert was vanilla ice cream rolled in pralines topped with slivered almonds and Frangelica!
Still thinking of that now!

Cannot wait to go back next year as this is our new place to be !“

“Had a great anniversary dinner! The staff decorated our table with golden rose petals and ‘Happy Anniversary' sign. A little detail that made us feel very special. Aron was amazing. He was attentive but didn't pester us unnecessarily. He made great recommendations from both the wine list and the menu. Definitely recommend, and will return!“

“This was hands down the best BBQ brisket I have had. Tender, juicy, cooked just right. I also ordered the salad with fresh greens, strawberries, red onion, feta, candied pecans with strawberry vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious! You can’t go wrong with a meal from Smoqehouse.“

“This is THE SPOT. Wow! Their famous Chicken and biscuit was so delicious, juicy and flavorful. Home fries….yes! Kids had Mickey Mouse pancakes and yes, I snuck a few bites. Also one of the few places with a good coffee menu…thank goodness! Espresso Freddo (cold) hit the spot on a hot day. Service was 100%.“

She was incredibly friendly and hospitable, making us feel right at home from the moment we sat down at the pool area. Cindy promptly took our drink orders and brought them with a smile, then followed up to take our food order. Everything—from the delicious fish tacos to the perfectly cooked quesadillas—was spot on. She checked in to make sure everything was to our liking, and her attentive service truly stood out. Five stars all the way!“

They could stand to clean their a/c return vents and probably replace the filters, otherwise it was a very clean restaurant including the bathrooms. Look forward to returning on my next visit in town!

“A very pleasant surprise that we stumbled upon. We decided to drive back into IMG at the 53rd Street entrance. We found the Legacy hotel. That’s where we found the cozy Icon grill. It happened to be happy hour an appetizers were half off along with drink specials. The food was excellent and we have shared this special place with many friends. The atmosphere was a bit loud since it sits almost in the hotel lobby. The outside is quiet and beautiful, sitting on a small lagoon.“

“Very friendly wait staff, good food at the right price. A place where locals and visitors are all welcome. I had a big ole burger, side of fries and unsweet fresh ice tea…yummy.“

“The food was absolutely delicious. Riley was an excellent server (thank you again). The view was beautiful, seats right on the river. Wow! My only complaint was my whiskey sour was a bit on the weak side. Will definitely stop again when in the area. PS: if you’re not used to Florida, you might want to spray some bug spray on your legs if you eat outside.

Parking: Lot is a tight squeeze.“
