China Chef has become one of my go-to spots in Immokalee. Not just because the food is great (and it really is), but because of the consistency and the heart behind it.

Every time I’ve ordered, the food has been fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can tell it’s made with care. The balance of flavors is what stands out to me — nothing tastes rushed or generic. It feels intentional.

But what really makes this place special is the owners. They are genuinely kind people. You can feel it when you walk in and when you interact with them. There’s a warmth there that you just don’t find everywhere.

It’s always a blessing to support a family-owned business that operates with integrity and treats people well. That matters to me.

“I don’t know how I missed this spot.. I must’ve been sleeping..Mingos is that place. The burgers are spot on, giving me Five Guys vibes without the Five Guys price tag. The strawberry lemonade.. My absolute favorite. And the Oreo milkshake was a hit with my kid. We’re definitely coming back on a Friday to try their Friday menu brisket, ribs, and chicken. You really can’t go wrong with that lineup. Do yourself a favor and stop by to try a little bit of everything. You won’t be disappointed. Mingo's is a pleasant, tasty surprise.”

“I had chicken, pork and shredded beef tacos for breakfast with a dish of red hot sauce and WOW soooo delicious. All 3 tacos had beans and rice, onions, cilantro and just amazing... so good. All the meats were so juicy and tender.. excellent flavor. They were also so friendly and helpful and super fast, like under 2 minutes and I was eating tacos. I watched them make the tacos right in front of me and then sat down in the cozy dining room. I can't say enough, very reasonablely priced as well. Just try them and you will not regret and they will not disappoint !!!!! Update: I had to go back to Immokalee the next day so I had their Tacos again only this time I had 4, didn't eat the rest of the day. Thank you very much Anthony's !!!”

“Everything was delicious, no complaints there at all! We ordered onion rings and i found it odd that they wanted to charge us for a tiny cup of spicy ranch sauce for dipping. Also before we left they offered to fill up our cups to go. Then charged us for the fill up as another soda. Very odd. There like 3$ to begin with. I can get a bigger size that actually has soda in it and not all ice at circle k for .79 cents... PLUS you offered!! Nothing was mentioned of charging for 2 more drinks. Even McDonald's doesn't charge you for a refill. Is your coke that much better? The staff was very friendly and attentive even though they were busy. Other than thr weird up charges and not mentioning the extra soda charges everything was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was on point, everything from the meal to down to the mac and cheese and bread. Cooked perfectly too i might add. Great meal will be back without a doubt.”
