“I've lived in Clearwater forever and have gone past the Rumba for years. It wasn't until my long time friend wanted to do a birthday lunch and told me to pick the place. We had Sangria 2 for 1, with fried grouper bites, excellent! Lightly battered, not greasy, yum. Then we had the barbecue pork with sauce on the side, so good. Our waiter Jarred was the best, we weren't sure of the sauce we wanted he brought us two small samples. We had slaw and black beans on the side. Our afternoon was the best, good food, and great service. Thanks Jarred for your suggestions, personality, and prompt service throughout our lunch, it made for a memorable birthday.“
“My husband picked up the BBQ lamb chops from 4K’s BBQ. They tasted delicious. They were super tender and full of flavor. The portion size was accurate for the price. I even tried one and we will both get them again. I had the smoked sausage which was delicious as well. We will definitely be going back. I am so glad this area of Clearwater finally has good BBQ!“

One of the best parts about going to Sonny’s is having Franki as a server. She’s gotta be one of the best servers me and my family have ever had. “Our first time here tonight. Right next to Beach Bod’s gym with a cute little courtyard in the back if you want to dine on site or take it to go to the beach like we did. Jason made sure we had great service and everything was delicious. We got brisket and pulled pork, with mac n cheese, potato salad and double side of collard greens. I try to eat gluten free and my stomach felt fine after the brisket and collard greens even though there might be traces of gluten on things (I didn’t ask, maybe they can accommodate further). We’ll be back to try other things!“

“Food was not what you would want for BBQ style and chicken was not flavorful… they didn’t have corn bread only loaf bread not even toasted… Mac n cheese was so bad didn’t even seem like they had cheese in it to stick together… so sad not worth the price at all!!! How can I get my $$$ back please we put our own salt and pepper on “
“I do the Italian thing and I am the "spicy meataball" but nobody does brisket and ribs like Casper. The guy on the phone was clearly very busy and a little stressed but still took the time to make sure a beer got delivered. “Great "take out only" food at a fair price. Ribs were wonderful, tender and very tasty, the vinegar based sauce I chose was perfect.I got the dinner with potato salad and Mac and cheese, both awesome! The Queen is a very nice lady and she absolutely knows her BBQ!!!“
“First time at BIG Jim's for my dad and I ... MY uncle was there too and made the suggestion to us. Started out good.. nice place... 30 plus beers on tap. I couldn't try them because it was lunch and I had a long day ahead (but it will). Waiter Jason stopped by and got us drinks and was really patient while we waited for my uncle. He offered appetizers too... Dad and I had the buffalo chicken sandwiches and uncle had the Ceasar wrap. We all loved the food (especially the sweet potato fries) ... The service was top notch. Really attentive without being over the top. In fact perfect. Then offered desert ... WE were full but dad took a rice pudding home ...Jason even gave him instructions how to heat it up at home which was what he did and loved it. Overall it was a 10 plus rating ... It couldn't have been better and we can't wait to go back. Oh and the prices were awesome too. Very great value ... You gotta try this place out“
“We drove 1 1/2 hrs to eat here, because was told food was really good. They didn't lie! We arrived and the parking lot wasn't crowded but within 25 minutes it was packed! The food for 20 people came out fast, and was very tasty. The 2 waitresses were excellent! The owner stopped by and chatted with the group at that end of our table, and seemed very nice. Those 2 waitresses were on the money, kept checking on us, was honest about the collard greens, ( which were good) , did refills quickly. I even brought some leftovers home. “Really great meat and flavor! I got the huli huli chicken and really loved it. Rice is great, pasta salad is great! Kalbu ribs are really good with great flavor but if you didn't like fatty you might not like it but it tastes great! Super accommodating as well. Called them about 30 minutes before comlose and they said it works take about 40 minutes but they would make my good for me still! Super grateful because the good was great! Highly recommend!“
