We drove 1 1/2 hrs to eat here, because was told food was really good. They didn't lie! We arrived and the parking lot wasn't crowded but within 25 minutes it was packed! The food for 20 people came out fast, and was very tasty. The 2 waitresses were excellent! The owner stopped by and chatted with the group at that end of our table, and seemed very nice. Those 2 waitresses were on the money, kept checking on us, was honest about the collard greens, ( which were good) , did refills...read full review

Big Jim's is the place only locals know, best hole in the wall BBQ and multi generation family owned. I had their rib sandwich, came smothered in a mild spicy mustard sauce and served with two slices of white bread. I suggest you order 20-30 minutes ahead and well worth the wait.
