“We had a work 2026 New Year's Eve party at Island Wings on Southside Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. I worked with Rashad Graham, the catering manager and our waiter named Jared. They were FANTASTIC!!! Every step of the way in planning, Rashad was there and ready to help and give suggestions. When I arrived, early, for the party they already had everything set-up and ready to go. Rashad came and met me and introduced me to Jared. They had everything planned. Jared was assigned only to our group for getting cocktails. He was amazing, taking care of close to 35 people and no one was ever searching and searching for him. He remembered names and faces. The food was delicious and there was SO MUCH! They supplied boxes and we all took home some food. I have to say, this was one of the BEST parties we have ever had! Will be looking to them again for a other party in the future.“

“The Asian Zing wings are so good! They’re the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and sticky. Every bite has that little kick but it’s not too hot — just enough to make you want another one. The sauce tastes fresh, the wings come out crispy, and they’re always full of flavor. If you like a sweet-spicy combo, these are definitely the best wings on the menu. I order them every time!“

When we arrived, we were informed at the door that it would take 20 to 30 minutes before we could order. We agreed that was fine. The Georgia Bulldogs were playing Charlotte at 12:45pm Hurricanes was one of the closest restaurant/ sports bars to the church. The staff was very accommodating., they put the game on one of the TVs I was able to watch the first quarter & still make the wedding in time. After the wedding I stopped back by to catch the last 05:35 of the game. A staffer custom made me a side salad that was sooo good with blue cheese & bacon bits. I left for the country club for a post wedding dinner. I recommend Hurricanes & am likely to go there again when I am in Fruit Cove or Switzerland Florida.“

“Let me tell you something lol when I found out they were still open I made it my business to go 2 days in a row when I came back to Duval. I was introduced to Wing in the early 90’s. My friends and I would walk to Wing on our Summer Breaks from John E. Ford elementary. 3 Wings, piece of bread and Curly fries with hot sauce and ketchup please!!! Always fresh and perfect size! I glad they’re still in motion cause the food still tastes great. I can still pull the meat off the bone easily! “Just recently, I ordered the garlic honey wings at 1030 pm last Saturday. Absolutely, over hard. I did not order the wings to be fried hard. I realize that ordering that late could be a mistake. It was. Today ordered my favorite gang. Pep wings. Not the same. Huge drums not crispness. I have been coming religiously for at least a year. Just recently, my expectations have been let down. I drug my feet on trying it because I thought they were a little pricey compared to dominoes/papa johns but it is well worth it. The quality and consistency is on point. One slice of the deep dish will fill you up. Their salads are also good (so fresh) and they have AMAZiNG ranch (buy a bottle!). My husband and I like different pizza toppings and they do an excellent job making 1/2 and 1/2s, keeping the toppings separate . My orders have always been correct and ready on time.
