“Our favorite restaurant in Jacksonville ! A casual yet elevated experience. Food is consistently delicious!! Staff is incredibly friendly and work well together. Chefs pay close attention to every little detail to elevate the food. Even the Brussels sprouts will “wow” you! They have plenty of vegan options , and the staff is very knowledgeable about accommodations. They always have one vegan dessert in hand. Pictured is the vegan Baked Alaska (heavenly!) Favorite dish is the vegan curry ! Definitely check this place out; you won’t be disappointed“

“We were down there for a Chiefs game and this place was catty corner to the Hilton. I’m glad we just went. It took me a few minutes to get accustomed to the costumes because they were pretty revealing but quickly realize that was part of the fun of the place. The bartenders were having a fantastic time and so were the customers. The drinks were great and they were very welcoming to out of town Chiefs fans, even with a little playful banter. They helped arrange a shuttle to get us to and from the game and we went back to the bar after the game and closed out the evening. Even though we weren’t locals, we sure felt like it by the time it was over. Special shout out to our bartender Danni who makes a mean old-fashioned and truly kept that place running smooth while everybody had a fantastic time. If we ever find ourselves in Jacksonville again, we will absolutely have to stop by.“

“I stopped by Dua on a Monday night when it was pretty slow, but my server Soto made the whole experience feel special. He was friendly, attentive, and created such a nice atmosphere even with the quiet crowd. He also made me the best espresso martini I’ve ever had — perfectly balanced and so smooth. You can tell he takes pride in what he does and genuinely cares about the guests’ experience. I really appreciated the great service and vibe he brought to the night. “Listen I did not know this little hidden gem was right up the street from where me and my husband live, we decided to stop at the laundromat and do a couple of loads of laundry and noticed this place next door and was like, let's go check it out, Ms. Gina. I believe she is. The owner, greeted us very pleasantly... We ordered three fried chicken beans and rice plates & two banana colas... We were the only customers at that time. So the place was empty. Her attitude was quite friendly and refreshing. The atmosphere What's pleasant? The food was amazing. The chicken, even though it looked dried out. Trust me, when I tell you. It was very juicy & well-seasoned... The coleslaw. Was amazing. I wish I could have had a lot more than that. L o l I started to go back and ask her to do me a pint of it... Sometimes you have to get out and explore your neighborhood. The food reminds me of straight-home cooking, which is refreshing. That means a lot coming for me. I don't eat out because I am very picky. We'll be paying, Ms. Gina. A visit again... So if you guys are ever on the west side of Jacksonville, go check her out, you won't be disappointed... For 3 plates & two banana colas plus tip..it was $43“

“My party of 4 ordered the Whole Hog for $48. You get 4 sides and the meats. It was weird getting 3 Ribs so one of us had to do without a rib. The presentation of the platter of meat for the Hog was sloppy. Our server Vic. S. Was very pleasant but had to ask her for drink refills and plates for the Whole Hog.“
