“DQ has a way of taking me straight back to my childhood. One spoonful and I’m there again—standing in line with sticky fingers, feeling like a simple treat was something special. The smell, the cups, even the way they flip the Blizzard upside down still carries that same quiet excitement. It’s familiar in a way that feels comforting, not outdated.
The Blizzards are still the highlight for me. They’re thick, indulgent, and generous with the mix-ins, making them feel like a small reward after a long day. One bite slows everything down in the best way.
But it’s not just the ice cream. The food holds its own memories too. The chicken basket with Texas toast and gravy is pure comfort—warm, soft bread soaking up rich gravy, the kind of meal that feels grounding and satisfying. It’s simple, dependable, and exactly what you expect every time. The burgers and fries follow that same honest approach: not fancy, just filling and familiar.“
“Only four stars because, I'm a little upset. I got me a combo the triple burger fries and drink. Wasn't sure what I wanted for dessert. I scanned my ticket afterward on the DQ app, It denied my second receipt. Sorry only one per day per visit. That's not right!“
“First time in many years to a Dairy Queen for a burger. Miss the Brazier Burger taste. This was a good cooked fresh hot burger. The single was enough for me. The fries were very good. Good thickness. Was pleased and very nice staff. Will go again.“
“Went on a Sunday morning, it was really quiet but the cashier was friendly. Decided to dine in and had a decent meal. I ate a cheeseburger deluxe with a Oreo Blizzard; tasted great. Fast service as well, waited less than 5 minutes for my food. Only complaint I really had was the soda had more syrup than fizz, but I just chose a different drink after.
It is peaceful in there, with staff chatting. I would go back if I'm ever in the area again.“
“We ordered 1 combo, with a double cheeseburger, and an additional single cheeseburger. With large fries. It felt like 5 minutes and our order was ready.
Fresh lettuce and pickles. French fries should be called fresh fries! Hot. It was a most delicious meal too say the least. Then we ordered a cone and sundea to to it off. This was for lunch.“
