There's one thing I can say about this place, it's good, consistent and always on point.
Uncle Khalid is a good person and he always remembers me plus everyone that worked for me, but the food tho......
I stop here multiple times a week not because of the convenience, his oil is always clean on his frier, the meat is fresh, THE VEGGIES ARE ALWAYS SUPER FRESH TOO.
All his dressings (okay maybe most of them) he makes in house and are to die for.

Hands down will continue to give my hard earned money for good food at reasonable prices.“

“Love, love, love the food here. I’ve ordered their chicken over rice dish (get the crispy platter with fries, trust me!!!) at least 10 times and each time the bowl comes packed with protein. Such a good price for the amount you’re getting — and the sauces are divine!!!

And my mom loves their falafel wrap — she’s picky and doesn’t like many falafel dishes in Jax because she says it’s easy to get it wrong, make the falafels too dry, etc., but she was blown away by Baba’s Halal’s falafels.

I’ve also ordered the buffalo wings and wasn’t a fan — it was over-salted and not a great sauce-to-chicken ratio. Plus, it didn’t come with ranch, which I feel like should be a given with any wings.

My only wish is that they weren’t located in the Avenue’s Mall Food Court. I personally find that mall depressing/not very active, and because of that I don’t visit it too often. I think this sort of food would be see a lot of success and be much better suited somewhere like Southside or Beach Blvd or the Town Center or even San Marco. Until then, I’ll continue to use DoorDash to order food from here every week!“

“The food and service were excellent. Yelp lists the closing time as 9 p.m., but it’s actually 7 p.m. By the time we realized this, we had already sent a calendar invite for our group to meet there. The staff graciously stayed open for us, were incredibly hospitable, didn’t rush us at all, and even treated us to halva.

The atmosphere is more neighborhood café than fine dining, but that’s exactly what it does best—so I happily gave it five stars.“

This is a speciality store, so it takes effort to get things here, and the other reviews complaining about price must not know the work it takes a business to get these things :/ I am grateful for these kind of speciality stores! Fun selection! My mom and I got the Dubai chocolate here, was nice. Good atmosphere, definitely recommend.“

“It was really busy so we decided to do an online order and shop around in other stores. Only took 15 after ordering online so even when they're busy they knock the food out quick. The Dave's Not Chicken is some of the best vegetarian chicken I've ever had.“
