We went to Lamai Thai on Tuesday and were beyond impressed. The food was all SO good, especially the Tom Yum and Siam chicken. Our server Z'Nyah was so friendly and patient with all of our questions. She made some great recommendations and provided the best service, along with everyone there. The prices were great, and the portions were large.
We will certainly be back.

Lamai Thai Restaurant at Oakleaf Plantation Center serves some of the best Thai food in Jacksonville. The food is always fresh, never greasy, with fresh vegetables. Dishes like the Siam Chicken, Som Tam (papaya salad), and pad prik are incredible and tasty. The yellow curry never disappoints, and the pad see ew, yellow chicken Panang Curry, and Tom Kha soup are excellent. The chai iced tea is amazing, and the cucumber water is a nice surprise. Service is great, prompt, and quick, with super nice staff. The place is small in a plaza, with soft Asian music playing. Occasionally the fried rice can be a little burnt, but overall this place is a little jewel. The pho was a little light on flavor, possibly a veggie broth. Customers feel like they are back in Thailand, and it is definitely worth the price.
