We paid for a table but the location wasn’t worth $50. It wasn’t packed to even need reservations, no line-no wait. I ordered the crab and shrimp roll & shrimp po-boy and my husband paid $35 for lamb chops and it was only 3…now that was unacceptable. Aside for his portion size, the food was great. Our waitress was nice. The vice was definitely for the grown folks (loved that!). The DJ talked too much but he read the room appropriately.
I attended a Derby Birthday Party. The atmosphere was very nice and being able to stand next to and also touch the horse was definitely new to me. The shrimp and crab egg rolls were pretty good, but the crab cakes really needed some help. They were a little salty for my taste buds, the texture was too soft for the crabcakes.
