“We were looking for a place to have Brunch and a lady outside of the restaurant gave us a Menu and invited us to enter. She took care of us and recommended The Scallops, the huevos rancheros, and the ribeye, we really enjoyed a wonderful meal, the atmosphere and the kind waitress. We can not wait to try other dishes“

“This place is fantastic - it is small but mighty. We had a 20-25 minute wait but it was worth it and we aren’t locals but were in Middleburg visiting a family member this weekend. The food and frozen margaritas were fabulous but what really stood out was the service. I want to give a huge shout out to our server, Olivia, as she really went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. She had no clue that our cousin’s husband passed away earlier in the week and that this was the first time she has been out for a meal without him - she was very emotional and sad but she wanted a frozen margarita so when all of us family members arrived in the area- that’s what she was getting. Olivia was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and we appreciated it tremendously. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the portion sizes are huge - the beef tip burritos and quesadillas are delicious and we would get those again every time. Best wishes for this business and they are going to have to expand eventually with what they have to offer!“

Pro tip, keep it simple on the base and go hard on the toppings if you like a lot of toppings. But it’s delicious enough to just get the sweet cream and have it plain! Such a cute shop 10/5 stars“

“My mom and I picked up a 4-pack of cookies. The cookies were tasty, but a little too doughy for me in my opinion. I prefer my cookies a little crisper around the edges. However, I actually did enjoy.

One in particular to my surprise, was the Confetti Milkshake cookie. It has sprinkles. I’m anti-sprinkles on all things. But mom wanted to try it. I must say that was my favorite. It was a little crisper than the others and the icing was creamy and not too overly sweet.

Yes, I would return as the cookies are tasty.

Side note, reserve some calories for the day because one cookie can set you back 700 calories and rising. LOL! I say share the calories with someone as these cookies are huge.

“🔥 Hidden BBQ Gem in Jacksonville – Authentic Smoke, Huge Portions, and the Best Collards You’ll Ever Have ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – First Visit to The Butt Hutt Smokehouse (Jacksonville, FL) Stopped in tonight while passing through Jacksonville on my way to Tampa for work — and I’m really glad I did. We got there around 6:40 on a Sunday evening. The place was busy but we still found parking and plenty of outside tables, and we ended up at the bar. Service started strong — our bartender Jacob was friendly, helpful, and quick to make recommendations. Later in the meal, we found out he’s also the owner and pitmaster, which honestly explains a lot about the pride and attention to detail that came through in everything. I ordered the 3 Meat Platter ($18) with Sliced Brisket, Smoked Turkey, and Pork Ribs, plus sides of Baked Beans with Sausage and Collard Greens, served with Garlic Texas Toast (not pictured). My coworker ordered the Burnt Ends Platter with Fried Okra and another helping of beans, and we also tried the Homemade Bacon — as to be expected here, it’s from the butt and not the belly. Thick little piggy nuggets of yummy. Everything was served classic-style on butcher paper over a metal tray. Portions were bigger than expected for the menu price points, and the food came out quick but not too quick. All the meats are smoked over pecan wood, giving a smooth, balanced flavor. • Brisket: 9/10 — tender, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being over-smoked. • Turkey: great flavor and really showcased the homemade sauces. • Ribs: my favorite — great smoke and cooked-on sauce. • Bacon: thick, savory, and pure indulgence. • Collard Greens: 11/10 — best I have ever had. Flavor, tenderness, and added-in meat. Wow. • Toast: simple but super flavorful. Crisp. The vibe was authentic, chill, and laid back — the perfect kind of find that feels unassuming on first pull up, but then it just envelopes you into a transformative, legit meat experience. Between the food, service, and atmosphere, The Butt Hutt hits all the marks of a great local BBQ spot. First timer. Will be a second timer. Must-try: Collard Greens & Ribs. Next trip: Jerk Chicken and Wings (and of course, will double up on the side of collards).“

“I’m from out of town and stay in the Baymeadows area for 2 extended periods during the calendar year. Metro Diner Southside has been my go-to breakfast stop for the past 6 years. The staff is so much fun to deal with, and it’s flattering to know that they recognize me whenever I stop in. The usual fare for me is standard food (omelettes/fried egg, meat, hash browns, toast); however, today’s choice was the pork chop & eggs special. Thoughts? This needs to be placed on the regular menu. Wow! The pork chop was “over-the-top” delicious and was a perfect match with the other items on my plate (OE eggs/HBs/biscuit). I’m hoping (praying?) that this dish stays on the specials list through this weekend! Special shoutouts to my 3 favorite servers (Rachel, Jacklyn, & Monica-all in a tie for 1st place) and to today’s greeter (whose name I can’t recall and apologize for that). We have frequented CULHANES at the Beach since 2010, the fabulous Ruby Beach used to play there on Saturday nights. It was then we discovered the amazing Irish recipes that are mouthwatering! There are so many great dishes, all of the Irish dishes you would expect and then some, all with the. Culhane twist! There are also many fabulous offerings of American dishes, always with that little extra. Extra special drinks and beers, not to mention 5 Sisters Vodka they produce. This is a very special restaurant as they have recipes you will not find anywhere else. The daily specials and happy hour are worth coming in for!
The CULHANES sisters are amazing to work with. CULHANES Southside is a classy richly decorated venue with an incredible staff! Our open mic patrons are having a ball ! We play in the bar area and to the bar crowd and it is nice background for dining, not overbearing in the area. We want to Thank the Culhanes Sisters for the opportunity.
