Had a lovely lunch yesterday. Service was great. My daughter and I ordered the chicken salad sandwiches with nuts and cranberries. They were delicious. My husband had the grilled cheese sandwich. Desserts looked yummy. That will have to wait until our next visit to Green Cove Springs.
We had seen something that said that they now had some gluten free items, which I need to have if I’m having any kind of baked goods. I asked the lady at the counter specifically about GF bread and desserts and was told they really didn’t have any. She recommended I have chicken salad or shepherd’s pie, that day’s special. It was a real shame they didn’t have any GF offerings, because we used to stop there before I developed this condition, and their sandwiches and desserts...read full review
