Enjoyed the overall experience. Convenient location to downtown with lots of outdoor space. Turf area and bounce house. Chocolate filled churros were amazing!! The tacos were flavorful but would not be filling if you brought a large appetite.

Went here weeks ago for a movie night and came back tn for the food. When I say WOW I don’t even have a picture of my cheesesteak bc it was so delicious I scarfed it down in 3min. Seriously perfect amount of meet to cheese to peppers and onions ratio, wonderful and not too greasy sautéed flavor, and THE DIPPING SAUCE I COULD EAT IN SPOONFULS. The Underground Events & Eatery is a creative, welcoming space and one of Jacksonville’s best-kept secrets. It offers a casual atmosphere with seriously good vibes, playing a vital role in the local creative and culinary scene. The location is convenient to downtown and features lots of outdoor space to eat under the shade, including a turf area and bounce house.
The food is vibrant, killer, and seriously good, with unbeatable prices for the quality and freshness. Standout items include the absolutely delicious tacos, the amazing chocolate filled churros, and a perfect cheesesteak with a wonderful dipping sauce. The menu also features a standout falafel with lemon tahini, an Italian that is the best you’ve ever had, a roast beef and cheddar wrap with horse radish mayo, and crispy, well-seasoned old bay fries. The pasta salad is fresh, and they offer delicious beer, decent prosecco and pinot grigio, and freshly brewed iced tea.
Service is great, with food coming out quick, hot, and fresh even on busy nights. It is a top food and favorite lunch spot, ideal for a quick bite or for hanging out during their many pop-up events, movie nights, and specials.
