“What an unexpectedly amazing experience! I went in to grab a cigar or two to enjoy while being here in Jacksonville and I am so glad that I found this place! The owners are just wonderful and Kristin (I hope I'm spelling that right) absolutely nailed the cigars for me. After helping me chose the cigars we proceeded to have a conversation and I got to learn a little bit more about them and their business. “This place is fantastic - it is small but mighty. We had a 20-25 minute wait but it was worth it and we aren’t locals but were in Middleburg visiting a family member this weekend. The food and frozen margaritas were fabulous but what really stood out was the service. I want to give a huge shout out to our server, Olivia, as she really went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. She had no clue that our cousin’s husband passed away earlier in the week and that this was the first time she has been out for a meal without him - she was very emotional and sad but she wanted a frozen margarita so when all of us family members arrived in the area- that’s what she was getting. Olivia was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of and we appreciated it tremendously. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the portion sizes are huge - the beef tip burritos and quesadillas are delicious and we would get those again every time. Best wishes for this business and they are going to have to expand eventually with what they have to offer!“

“Amazing evening out. Everyone was so friendly as you entered the restaurant. It started with one of the best pomegranate martinis I ever had. Our server Jessica was excellent and all the servers that came to the table paid attention to detail. The most impressive part of the evening was the impeccable style of chef Justin. We had the 6 courses chef’s adventure tasting menu and I cannot say enough about the cuisine. The harmony of flavors and the mastery of technique with the plating presentation was magnificent. The chef came to the table to explain each plate that was presented. He’s very knowledgeable regarding the dishes he prepares and you could see his personality come through in the way the dishes were plated and the flavors that came through with each plate. With the cuisine Justin is preparing this restaurant could be a Michelin star restaurant in notime. By the way I am gluten free so the chef had to make changes to my dishes only. I cannot say enough on how much we enjoyed the entire evening. We will definitely be visiting Matthew’s again.“

“One year ago we lost a very dear friend, co-worker, family member and loved one! We went to seasons 52 to celebrate his life and brought with us (his ashes). The staff at seasons 52 town center Jacksonville Florida was amazing and accepted the situation as if he was there! From the bar tender Michael who served him a drink to the receptionist who Renee who made us fell very welcome and treated our friend with respect and dignity to our waiter Blake who also went the extra mile to make our experience exceptional! We would like to recognize these people for helping us make our friends night out so very special we will be back every year because of them and the service, not to mention the food was amazing! “I had a business lunch and we were left with no server for some time. Someone at our table brought up to someone in jacket, and she was happy to make thing right and took care of us very well. It was not busy, so of course we were slightly disappointed with the first impression, but all good at the end. Food was good, steak cooked the way we asked, truffle fries delicious and desserts too. “Relaxing and peaceful views here! When I come here, I only dine outside in the back facing the ocean. Personally, I enjoy coming here during the week (during the week they’re only open Wednesday through Friday 7am to 11am) because it’s typically never crowded and I enjoy the peace and tranquility that come with the amazing views and ocean breeze. The menu items are very good quality and reasonably priced. My only reason for docking a star on my review is because they’re booked quite frequently (usually majority of the restaurant is reserved), service is not the fastest (however, the managing owner Carol is kind and amiable), and on numerous occasions they don’t answer the phone so it’s difficult to plan breakfast or brunch when they don’t answer the phone and on several occasions, I’ve had to be turned away on a empty hungry stomach which isn’t a good feeling. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out if you have the opportunity. My personal recommendations are the mimosas (get the bottomless jug) and the blue crabomelette.“

“Went for a bridal shower lunch and really enjoyed myself. The service and food definitely deserve 5 Stars. I was able to sample a lot of the menu and everyone really enjoyed their food. I don't even eat shrimp but I have to comment on how well it was fried and seasoned because everyone in the group was raving about it. I ordered the veggie rasta pasta which was absolutely delicious. I also had some of the oxtail rice and macaroni. Very well seasoned I just wish there was more meat in both. I also had a mango mocktail which I really enjoyed. Will return again soon for more yummy food and try something off their cocktail menu now that I've given birth since my visit.

Vegetarian options: The veggie rasta pasta was just what I needed. Super flavorful with the right amount of spice. Will order again.“
