Inexpensive,basic breakfast menu and food is good in the club house cafe inside Nettles. The ocean side pool cafe across the street has very good food including tasty grilled cheese sandwiches and homemade chips!
You can't get any closer to the water at Nettle's Island which is on Hutchinson Island. The lots are open and paved but hard to come by especially in-season. There are two pools and a private beach along with a nice restaurant that sits right on the water overlooking marina. Across the street, Shuckers has a great menu and entertainment right on the ocean. Beautiful spot.

This is Cafe is "community run". I'm not sure how that works but, it's in a gated community and don't think you will get through the gate just to eat here. Most are regulars that live here and most know each other. We were just renting one of the few RV lots in the community and found the staff and other customers very welcoming. Not much on atmosphere but it was a short walk, service and food were good and reasonable prices.
