“After a full day of travel along the full I-95 corridor, we choose this location to dine at based on reviews. When we pulled in, the parking lot was empty, giving a little concern as to whether the food was as good as the reviews stated. We were seated and waited on in a generous amount of time. Our order taken and food delivered quickly. The flavor of the food was good, however, the temperature of the pulled bbq pork and fries for my husband was barely warm, and the bbq on my salad was the same. Had the food been of a more recently cooked temp instead I would say this was a great meal - it was a little disappointing that the temp of the food was probably room temp at best. Still the flavor was there.”

“One of the best places in the United States for high end cakes and cup cakes and cookies. Johnny and her husband produce some of the finest and tastiest cakes and cupcakes we have every had. They don't rival -- they beat -- the best places I have been to in Miami, Chicago , Orlando, etc. These are places I have lived in, and I've eaten some great desserts elsewhere, but Something Sweet has been the best. You don't win Cup Cake Wars unless you are the best. They are the nicest, warmest (small-town-feeling) couple with the best desserts around. There is no product at Disney that can come close to the products that they produce. Give them a try- you won't be disappointed. But come early, they tend to sell out early.”

“Troy's Pizzeria- Port St. John, FL- 4 Stars "Oh, joy," I thought as I stared at the window on my random name generator, another Pizza joint. But hey, at least it wasn't a franchise! The name in question was that of Troy's Pizzeria in beautiful Port St. John...oh, who am I kidding, it's OTB and I don't like going OTB, alas duty calls. I truly enjoyed Troy's Pizzeria and recommend it over and other pizza joint in PSJ. As I was debating which bridge to use to cross the river, I looked up and I was there (it's not that bad of a drive after all). The tidbit of information that got my curiosity up was the fact that Troy's touted itself as serving "New York Style" pizza. For those not in the know, NY Style pizza is made with a defining overly large hand-tossed crust that is thin except the edge, this allows for the preferred method of ingestion, the New York fold. Upon entering Troy's Pizzeria I was immediately taken in by how clean the place was. I can get used to this aspect of a post-COVID world as who doesn't like a clean eating establishment? While it was nothing out of the ordinary décor wise, I found it to be a quaint little parlor aptly manned by Amanda. I asked Amanda for one slice of white pizza and one order of their stuffed shells with the proverbial garlic knots and a small side salad. The salad Amanda soon returned with was chock full of fresh vegetables and crisp, green lettuce. Sadly, the dressing was obviously out of a bucket. The garlic knots were just that, garlic knots. They were cooked properly and tasted fine, but certainly nothing extraordinary here. Moving on to the slice of white pizza. What I really like here is the crust. I hate overdone crust and this was obviously made to order, cooked properly and was delightfully amusing on the palate. The toppings were fresh, the sauce was tasty and it folded perfectly! Great job, Troy's!! The stuffed shells, while not bad in any way, didn't make the same impression on me as the slice of pie I just scarfed down did. The shells were cooked properly, the sauce was adequate and the rest is, as they say, history. I must make a disclosure here to my loyal readers. When I am comparing Italian food I rate pizza joints against pizza joints and sit-downs vs. sit-downs. So, for future reference, please don't ask me how a pizza place stacks up against a family-oriented sit-down Italian joint that has the obligatory pizza on the menu. “I got delivery. It was prompt and delivered hot. It was their new Papadia Cool Ranch. It is the best! Reasonably priced lunch item on the menu. It was ordered early. This location closes at 9 PM instead of 11 PM like the other Papa John’s Locations. It is sad that it closes so soon. Pizza at 12:00 AM would be even better if they remained open those hours. Thanks for a perfect lunch meal.”

“I am a regular at this drive thru window. Just happens that I usually have my bulldog Bruce with me. Well over the course of time, and because of Bruce, I have gotten to know the morning ladies well. They are always eager to say hello to him and offer him a treat. He loves them more than I do! I get the scoop on restaurant happenings, and Bruce gets fat! The food is typically, but what really keeps me coming back are the two ladies in the morning. Once Bruce fell ill and was dying they, surprised to say, were a rock I could lean on, and I will always be grateful for them and their concern❤️”

“An Average subway looks wise, but the store manager (can’t remember his name but his badge said manager) was one of the best Subway employees I have experienced. Everyone working in here provided the best subway experience I have had in years. They had no issues taking coupons, and were understanding of a more complex order.”

“Kid-friendliness: The staff always talks to my son and interacts with him, the management team is also extra friendly and goes out of their way when they aren’t busy to make sure to interact with my son and it is very welcoming.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a nicely large bathroom and specific tables for the handicapped and they offer the kiosk and online app services to be able to order fast even while in a handicap position, making it very capable of ordering and dining in with ease.”
